  • Greatest film ever! XD

  • Edward Cullen doubts your commitment to sparkle motion

  • This reminds me of Jr High School when some mother started to slap her daughter outside the front of the school where the kids wait for the bus or for their parents to pick them up. As soon as she started slapping her own daughter one of the guys who was talking to his buddy immediately turned his head to watch the slapping as if he just saw an accident or a hot chick passing by LMFAO

  • @heb430 wat

  • lol I love how this woman is the crazy lady in Little Miss Sunshine too

  • Best line from the movie XD

  • God is awesome !!

  • the describpton for this video would be such a cool t-shirt!

  • My commitment to Sparkle Motion is beyond question.

  • Funny scene, but a lot of the commentary in this movie straddles that line between exaggerated satire and straw-man burning. Nobody's that dumb. At least, that's what I want to believe. . . .

  • @CapcomUnityVideos you'd be surprised....

  • @CapcomUnityVideos If you think so, you need to watch Toddlers in Tiaras.

  • BUT ROSE!!!!!!!

  • Ill be honest kitty is a fucking cunt. however, whoever the woman is that played her did a GREAT JOB! Good acting to be honest by both parts, by ALL parts! bravo

  • @thatoneirishkoreaguy she a great sctor in the skittles commercial too... lol

  • I'm beginning to doubt my commitment to the sparkle motion....of LIFE.

  • My guild's name is Sparkle Motion.

  • Seriously. "Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!" might be the best quote ever. There's all this bullshit we're supposed to take seriously, and it's ALL an emergency, a CRISIS, but if you just take even a half-step back it's nothing. It's just Sparkle Motion, a glittery bauble that's sound and fury signifying nothing.

  • LOL WUT

  • *doesn't know what sparkle motion is*

  • @Dnfparasiempre WATCH DONNIE DARKO. ¬_¬

  • I found Donnie Darko as a comedy as well as a mind fuck movie

  • Bah she should just order the Galactica to rain down on Mrs. Farmer.

  • i dont get it...why does he have a kiddie porn DUNGEON? does he have people locked down there?

  • @shradegear - it just depends on what kind of PR spin you want to put on it right? - dungeon is much more headline worthy than "Kiddie Porn Lounge and MiniBar"

  • 9 people aren't committed to Sparkle Motion

  • That lady plays such a good overbearing "living vicariously through my kid who I'm pimping for the crowds' applause" mom. A+ job for the actress. I hate moms like this in real life.

  • everyone on on this video is scared to say it so im gonna have to...FUCK SPARKLE MOTION!

  • 8 people should go suck-a-fuck.

  • 8 people have a kiddie porn dungeon.

  • @Brunstar123 correction, 8 people are abandoning their girls to defend people who have kiddie porn dungeons.

  • Anytime my friend and I are fighting over something silly and trivial, I'll just break the tension by shouting WELL SOMETIMES I DOUBT YOUR COMMITMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION. lol works everytime.

  • @brixton92 Genius!

  • @brixton92 I do the exact same thing!

  • @brixton92 My best friend and I do that too!!!

  • @brixton92, Congratulations on being so hilarious.

  • @brixton92 How's that working out for you? ... Being clever?

  • @kennedy78757 You seem rather envious of the top comment position. Or that brixton92 has a sense of humor...

  • "How's that working out for you? Being clever?" is from Fight Club. But Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as an evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. The overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. As for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have reproductive organs. It's just so illogical, you know, being a Smurf. What's the point of living if you don't have a dick?

  • @kennedy78757 "What's the point of living if I can't be *beautiful*?" -Wizard Howl

  • @strangelycutlemon I was quoting Donnie Darko. Thanks for the obscure amine movie quote.

  • @kennedy78757 yup

  • 8 people are a product of fear...

    thank you Jim Cunningham!

  • Comment removed

  • ohhhh........ I thought they were talking about Edward Cullen.

  • omg. love it.

  • All I wanna do is help Darko save the cowboys from the evil bunnymen and his injured big and open eye!

  • 8 people aren't committed to sparkle motion.

  • Rose is a smokin' hot MILF, this cannot be denied.

  • Henry Kane takes female form

  • I love his parents. I hated Gretchen though. God, I hate her so much.

  • @xtremeskilzfrombirth same. His dad was hilarious and his mom was here too and Gretchen, brought nothing to the movie.

  • @cartergirl3of3 but without gretchen the ensurance trap would have never been set and donnie couldnt have sent the jet engine through the time portal to the primary universe with his powers allowing the tangent universe to collapse safely

  • @cartergirl3of3 Actually she bought a lot to the movie, of course you aren't supposed to like her character, she is a self opinionated self serving bitch, but without her the movie would have had plot holes everywhere and Cunningham's part would have meant nothing, or be non existent. I actually thought she bought a lot to the movie indirectly by the way other characters acted around her.

  • @Smokinjoewhite You mean more plot holes than it already has lol?

  • @SarahIsAlwaysRight

I know she's vital to the movie but seriously, she had the WORST personality.

  • I love how she baits her into begging at :16-:22....awesome

  • Donnie's mother is totally a MILF!!

  • @alfok i was about to write that! lmao

  • Edward cullen -" I doubt YOUR commitment to sparkle motion. bitch, you know nothing about sparkles."

  • also i love how sarcastic donnie's mother is

  • @shradegear- And how the other chick doesn't seem to catch onto it. xD

  • i dont get it this woman says he daughter is on the dance team, so why would she choose to defend that pedophile over supporting her daughter at their dance competition...is she stupid?

  • "I'll tell you what he said..He asked me to forcibly insert the lifeline exercise card into my anus!"

  • @AMiglioranzi "I think we should give him a moped."

  • @AMiglioranzi HAHAHA XD

  • Sorry, Sparkle Motion will have to wait. We've got Cylons on the loose.

  • @RoyalGuard503 ROFL

  • I admit to quoting this a little too frequently.

  • I remember reading up about this scene. The reason she acts so desperate about this whole Sparkle motion thing is because this will help save the world from ending. It's hard to explain because youtube limits messages to x amount of characters, but if you google this scene of the movie with an explanation you'll understand.

  • Chut up !

  • It is not an hilarious scene. It is a very well acted and dramatic scene of an awesome movie.

  • Lady, I doubt your commitment to sanity.

  • This is how most girls are acting right now with the Justin Bieber assault case.

  • I love replaying the "Now... you can't go..." at 0:04 haha so fun. She's a regulah Donna Reed.

  • Movie was released only a month after the Sept 11 attacks.

George Bush sayin: "You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists"

But all i ever heard was: "Sometimes i doubt your commitment to sparkle motion"

  • Donnie's mom is a MILF.

  • Why does she nearly break into tears on every line in the film?

    INTO MY ANUS! *sob sob*

I DOUBT YOUR COMMITMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION *sob sob*

I would love to just punch any people out there that are like Kitty Farmer. >.<

  • i love how the director made a parody scene seem really important and dark

  • Best line in the movie.

  • Sometimes I doubt your commitment to the gayest name for a dance group ever!

  • I don't know why but the way Mrs Darko goes "It's a bad weekend... Eddy's in New York" coupled with the film score in that part gives me the shudders. It seems to foreshadow the film's climax.

  • @MmeLEnfer You're right, that's what I thought too. Well actually the whole movie gives me the shudders because it's so great

  • @wuatenigenu999 Me too. Kind of literally, it makes me shake. lol

  • that chick is hilarious

  • (SIGH) i wanna say that sentence to someon e sincerely before i die

  • or should i say sarah palin reminds me of her.

  • the "i doubt your committment to sparkle motion" woman reminds me of sarah palin a lot.

  • The 8 people who disliked this were probably all people from Sparkle Motion.

  • She looks like the creationists that appear in a Richard Dawkins documentary or something and end up organising defence campaigns for priests or pastors caught raping kids or doing amphetamines with gay hookers (nothing wrong with the last one but technically hypocritical).

  • I love you for posting this. Best line from any movie. I shotgun naming a band Sparkle Motion so when band members show up wasted or late for rehearsals or gigs, I can say "SOMETIMES I DOUBT YOUR COMMITMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION!"...

Love the movie, and was happy they didn't make a terrible sequel with S.Darko all grown up. Great, but obviously the originals are always better.

  • anyone knows the song that appears early in the movie?

  • @nightfall25ify I'm assuming you mean either "Head Over Heels" by Tears For Fears" or "The Killing Moon" by Echo & The Bunnymen.

  • Greatest line from any movie--evah! :p

  • Actually, the movie was filmed in a suburb of Hollywood.

  • yeah, takes place in Virginia...looks like the DC suburbs. Not deep south certainly, but you could meet her type there I believe...

  • Great scene. Frankly, I ,too, was beginning to question Rose's commitment to Sparkle Motion.

  • @theNewCruelty haha FRANKly

  • @theNewCruelty i like how you said "frank-ly"

  • @theNewCruelty Frank-ly? ;)

  • my favorite line in the whole movie rofl

  • serious lack of context

  • love this movie in my top 20 (directors cut) and i fuckin love this scene

  • Kitty is like Tipper Gore, Patsy Ramsey, and Phyllis Schlafly all rolled into one.

  • i love this scene!

  • 4chan has turned this famous line into Childporn faggotry.

    Over & out.

  • @cinderkig wut

  • @roidroid Get facts.

    Look it up.

    Probably banned now.

    Good.

    Cannot unsee what I saw.

My reaction time was definitely on the red x in the corner in seconds.

Only thing I could say aloud?

"The fuck did 4chan just put me through 1 second of my life I'll never forget."

  • @cinderkig I'd rather not google "Childporn 4chan Sparkle Motion" if you get my drift.

This isn't the matrix, so just TELL me what you're talking about - english words & under 500 characters.

  • @roidroid Oh well. Take it less serious. Lol...

    Or provide me with laughter.

Anyways, I said (lemme dumb eet doon)

"4chan.net, some user posted a video of cp on the internet. Used a different title, slapped "Street Fighter 4 New chars" I fell for it. And, suffered from it."

If you don't get that? Bliss...

  • @cinderkig you must be new

  • @roidroid Oldfaggin' in here are we?

    #plural

    Nice one though.

  • @roidroid And, don't mind that .net...autotext.

  • @cinderkig i don't necessarily mean new to the chons - i mean new to the internet.

The internet is full of porn and shocking imagery.

Goatse was 11 years ago ffs, you should be used to this by now

  • @roidroid Dude. I know exactly what you're saying.

But, I simply refuse to be "used to" the faggotry about. On the internet.

Lol. I am used to the misleading. Just that once I slipped, and paid for it.

Not getting used to shit that isn't ok to talk about in public that also includes people harming or degrading themselves in an attempt to do what they think is the opposite.

Logic is needed, though you may think not.

  • @cinderkig i think what's been happening here - is that people are perhaps just NOW getting used to - and starting to accept - the sheer amount of idiots that has undoubtedly permeated human society for hundreds of thousands of years

It's only now that places like yahoo answers, youtube, etc are allowing the idiots the freedom to emerge from the woodwork in huge droves - that humanity is finally starting to TRY to cure them - or at least cure our ignorance of their presence - EN-MASS

    WONDEROUS

  • @roidroid You're kidding me. Logic clusterfuck & contradictions.

Look that word up. Anyway, Fuck the abnormality. I already deal with being me.

  • That's what we call some serious acting right there... she delivers that line like she's in a Shakespeare play... it's brilliant...

  • She skips out on her own team's Star Search run to defend a pedo, and she's accusing the lead dancer's mom of not caring.

Folks, this is irony at its very finest.

  • @captpan6 do not enter that that plain, one of the engine's gonna fall over donnie room then he'll become a gay cowboy

  • @thelargge You really have a problem with that, don't you?

  • @captpan6 I never really caught that.

  • Thought of this when I heard about the Melbourne Storm.

  • omg my childhood was chock full of this crap lol

  • CLASSIC! hearing this all car ride home

  • I am fully committed

  • the greatest quote of all time.

  • I wanna slap this southern woman

  • Donnie Darko = THE ultimate cult movie of the last decade.

  • @RubyTuesday717 not to much anymore all the little emos got to it

  • the music in the background is just sooo creepy

  • Fresh on the path of love I would just like to say that I am proud of Sparkle Motion being the backbone of Fear/Love campaign!

  • Saw it in the theatre on opening night in Los Angeles. INSTANT CLASSIC MASTERPIECE.

Thank you, Drew Barrymore for having vision.

(And what a fun gathering afterwards. Good times; Good times.)

  • Donnie's Dad Is The Best! Where They're In The Principals Office, And Where He's Eating Pizza At The Dinner Table!

  • This scene. All scenes. This movie is flawless.

  • Gotta love Mary McDonnell

  • oh yeah i almost forgot, one of the number one things, "CHUT UP," Churita-2001

  • MY FAVORITE PARTS FROM DONNIE DARKO:

    1.) Dinner conservation

    2.) Smurf conversation

    3.) Life-line presentation

    4.) Commitment to sparkle motion

5.) Sparkle motion p.s. if there's anything I left out reply to me. b.t.w., what really is a fuckass?

  • school scene?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheCornholio713

    Hungry hungry hippos

  • I always say this randomly to my friends. haha

  • i love to say random movie quotes in random situations too xd

  • Bahaha. That's the funniest stuff. I say that to people all the time..

    "oh I dunno man..."

"Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparklemotion!"

  • Aside from the whole dinner table swearing match, this is the funniest line in the movie. haha I swear I know a mom just like this. They even look the same. Ugh

  • why is mary such a retard?

  • I love that line. Sometimes I say it to people at random in the middle of a conversation.

  • i would bang donnie's mom shes a cougar

  • I was going to say the same thing, good thing I read the responses first!

  • oh..this makes my day....LOL

  • i think donnies mother is hot!

  • I enjoy Donnie Darko, i think its at least partly a parody of american culture.

  • she reminds me of sarah palin

  • Her voice annoys the hell outta me...

  • Movies like this make me wish Mystery Science Theater 3000 still existed...

  • lol love this scene

  • this old actress is probably really nice is real life. but i think every movie ive seen her in, ive wanted to kick her character in the head...

  • She really does get stereotyped as the crotchity old bitch in each movie. Even in Child's Play 2, you wanted to see her bite it.

Though she was pretty nice in To Wong Foo.

  • She was the prudish, crotchety old bitch judge in "Little Miss Sunshine," too!

  • bwahh ha ha!!! her last line is the shit!! hilarious!

  • god i hated her

  • creepiest fucking scene of any film, ever. tops every horror flick scene in my book.

  • The southern US is full of women like this.

  • amen...

  • @carverbrian Yes it is, and I should fucking know.

I love it when Donnie tells her to shove the lifeline exercise up her ass xD

  • @carverbrian lol no it's not. i've never met a single woman who does any of this stuff

  • @bretchet23 but there are god fearing christians who are so stupid like this who are in such denial

  • @carverbrian right on!

  • @carverbrian didnt the movie take place in Virginia?
