  • I've got the chance to see him live.

As a musician (and a I've been palyin for more than 20 yrs) I can tell you that what this guy does is amazing.

He's an artist and a great musician.

Be open minded an pay atention to his frasing.

    He's one of a kind.

  • for those of you not getting it- its not about scratching- nothing to do with creating a percussive overlay....Its phrasing, its blending, its visual as well as audibly lyrical. He plays the record like a frickin violin!

He's the Picasso of DJ ing

    It's the future.

  • dank like a nug that a bug stole and took under the rug

  • damn technical !

listen to "the emperor's main theme"

  • I don't get it either...

  • Koala is brilliant!

  • i love it, and fuck me its ahrded than it looks.

  • Am the only one not getting this?

  • well it isnt really supposed to be funny or dramatic or anyhtign. just an interview and live shots intercut, really. so i think you got it, but some comments might be making you think you should be expecting more.

  • yes. the only one.

  • He's got two (three, but focuses on two) copies of the record. It mostly sounds as though he's just playing the song, BUT this allows him to: scratch in each vocal line she's about to sing (I love how that sounds), add his own echoes to words, manipulate the two volumes to add extra effects, and--best part--1:43-2:10 he adds his own organ part by dropping the needles around on different notes. Hope this helps!

  • I cried.

  • me 2

  • same

  • I love that's song especialy because ARE remixed by KOala
