@WianBergMagic Yep, a lot of JS's releases always relied on the Double Lift for a while. This was just as simple to figure out but I guess it might have a good effect on some specs.

@WianBergMagic The principle is called Out to Lunch which was created by Clare Cummings and Bob Ellis. I think I understand considering I do this trick on a weekly basis at my job. You will lose respect amongst actual magicians like myself if you keep posting comments like these.
@TheAceofNate Actually I care. I like to see the number of people who know generally. It's like a mini barometer. Lets face it, some effects are stronger than others, magically speaking. This one is just not very strong with the band round the deck and the trite face down deal. Chris does his best with the presentation, but you can't make a silk purse out of sows ear.

@designanddirection Yes, Rachel is hot but she does look a bit bored by it all. Her reactions are those of a typical spec though, so it is honest.
You could hire that black guy, Dave from L and L. He would be sure to whooop and holler and "OMG" every 2 seconds to add a bit of spice to the audience. Then Rachel could tell him to STFU, it might be quite fun to watch!

@geasscanceler16 Hmm good question! If you buy it you will learn some great effects! I use about 2 of them but not that much! and there is some really great ideas in it! but i still think that you could get much more out of your money. its a 3/5. If you want some good mentalism that you can use in real life that are really good then go for Matt Mellos - Modern Mentalism 2 dvd set its rally rally good! i think taht you would use almost all of the tricks in it! its a 6/5

@magnusofspades but it is not the same EFFECT. That's why he can sell it. Sankey uses this method A LOT in his work...85 % of his DVD's have an effect using this method :)

Paul Harris has a very similar effect with pretty much the same method - it's in True Astonishment.
Has Rachel gotten magic fatigue yet? Perhaps you could hire some of the audience from L&L who would go mental at every trick you perform!
