  • basing morality on logic and reason makes more sense than basing it on faith and belief, and any intelligent human being should know that faith and belief is an absence of truth.

  • Crazy bitch.

  • This old cunt spent her old age cashing a government check every month. Fucking hypocrites.

  • Justin are you for or again this heartless bitch, the goddess of Libertarians?

  • @valhala56 If you just came here to troll, don't expect a response from me. I'm not going to waste time trading insults.

  • @valhala56

She's no heartless bitch or goddess of libertarianism but rather a very intelligent visionary who predicted what was coming our way .... dictatorship. Collectivism enables the absolute control over others. She's asking that people be responsible for their own actions/lives....what's heartless about that? People need to grow up and be big grown up people without the nanny state dictating every aspect of their lives.

  • Heartless bitch, huh? Yes, and atheists are possessed by the devil. The non-joiner is draped as being the most heinous thing imaginable. Rand made it a good deal of the way. She stumbled on the "mind" part. That's where she looped into theistic-like thinking. Possibly, that's why she seems so heartless to you. She took the free market idea and used it communistically. That sort of mingling does not have good results in the long run: it makes you a heartless, stone-like bastard... like Galt.

  • @SomethingSea1

Are you sure your comment was supposed to be addressed to me? I was responding to Youtuber Valhala56.

Nevertheless, I don't agree with you about "That sort of mingling does not have good results in the long run: it makes you a heartless...." You have no evidence of that. None whatsoever. In fact, Rand's predictions of the future have basically come into fruition because mankind has obeyed the false social and economic market that she was warning us about.

  • @SomethingSea1

Oh, and just an additional comment to you....atheists ARE processed by the devil....the scientific devil . I see absolutely no difference whatsoever between Atheists and Theists....they BOTH 'believe' in a god. They are dictated to by a greater source the knowledge of life...the answers to the big questions. Well, I've looked at both their gods and both fail in answering anything. Belief is nothing but a prison for the mind.

  • @fridaytieday most of "science" is pretty up front about there lack of knowledge or at least verification of the answers to "big questions" thus warranting in some of their minds the billions spent on the CERN precisely because they don't really know or claim to have perfect knowledge of whats going on. what kind of troglodyte are you to assert that science has failed in answering anything? belief is a prison for the mind? isn't that a belief . . .

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

"......what kind of troglodyte are you to assert that science has failed in answering anything? belief is a prison for the mind? isn't that a belief . .."

Gee you are responding in a very oppositional way. In a way that exposes you as being locked into your left brained prison which is full to the brim with 'beliefs' and has very little comprehension of language.

Science does not answer anything...it is a description of events, tailored to the 'belief' system of its time.

  • @fridaytieday lol and if my question is "currently what is the best way to describe phenomena X" a scientific approach is always preferable than that of a religious one yet from your previous statements you would disagree with this.

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

A scientific description is preferable to you because your belief system is that of science. For a religious person it would be a religious description. Theism and atheism both describe "phenomena X" in a way that is suitable for their belief system, which comes with a tome of laws and instructions to follow, so as to be totally controlled. I neither agree or disagree with their systems.

  • @fridaytieday would you rather fly in a plane designed by engineers and scientists who have sufficient knowledge of aerodynamics, tensile strength of materials, etc. or one by religious people kept in the air simply by god? There is practical and demonstrable utility to be found through applying science methodologically and is not the same quality of values and results to be found within religion which is why I think you're being either stupid or disingenuous in your conflating them to beliefs

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

You're creating your own rules here by bringing engineers into the argument. Also, the Building of airplanes is not restricted by a belief system. Airplanes are built by man, not by science and not by god. So your thought experiment has failed in proving anything except that you are in a left-brained prison.

And, since when has 'knowledge' been the copy-right of science?

  • @fridaytieday there are scientific principles engineers rely on so it's perfectly relevant. i didn't say man doesn't build airplanes; what you're too dense to understand is that the man who applies science will be successful not the religious ones. THIS makes the beliefs qualitatively different in there utility which why again I'll restate it since you ignored it; you're retarded for conflating and consequently dismissing them both as simply "just beliefs".

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

Your ad hominem argument demonstrates that you are being confronted by 'thoughts' that have not been programmed into your left-brained prison.

  • @fridaytieday and your inability to address any of the points i brought up outside being butt-hurt over being justifiably called stupid demonstrates that there isn't more to your position than nonsensical high-minded rhetoric.

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

Was this comment supposed to go to me? It would seem better addressed to yourself. I put it to you that it is in fact "you" who is "butt-hurt" because all you can muster up is ad hominem arguments...not scientific but nevertheless still very left-brained.

Will you ever break out of that prison I wonder?

  • @fridaytieday and I never implied knowledge is exclusive to science you're just making shit up.

  • @MOONDOGGIESWTF

....it's you who is "making shit up". It's you who created the Thought Experiment on airplanes, it's you who created your own rules, so why get all sulky with me if your argument fails?

Do you want me to bake you a cake, with tools inside it, and send it to you in your left-brained prison, so maybe you can break your way out and come and join the free thinkers?

  • @valhala56 All actions are in self interest, even if we do not admit it. Those who believe in God and Heaven do "the right thing" for the rewards of God and Heaven.

Those who serve their fellow man, do so because it serves their own sense of happiness and contribution (shall we say an enjoyable hobby for lack of better term).

Christians are taught God's 1st commandment is to "love God" and the 2nd is love they neighbor AS THY SELF.

There is no such thing as a selfless mortal man in reality.

  • @johnnibarger Well since there is no such thing as a selfless man that pretty much makes Jesus a myth.
