  • where can I get the other videos of Adam Basma?

  • Putting on the make-up ritual is Persian isn't it, in origin ........part of long- ago courtesan dances in court ...... nothing folky about it....... why is everybody importing this for no good reason into other traditions where it never existed?

  • This is traditionally a trance dance ... spiritual significance ...... turned into kind of a popular technoized version somehow ........ abandoning its original beat and intentions ...... kind of a pity ...... most people are totally ignorant and have changed it into a disco dance ...... there is enough trad. or modern folk music to dance happy dances to ... why not use that instead?

  • very nice!!!

  • Beautiful performance...can you tell me the name of the song?

  • The original song is a traditional Tunisian sufi song for sidi Mansour "Allah allah ya baba". Here, Adam Basma's musicians and singers re-sang it as "Allah allah ya Adam" The song was made popular by Tunisian singer- forgot his name, but it's also called "sidi mansour"

  • @MaleikaB the name of the singer who made it popular is Saber Rebai, a well known-Arabic and Tunisian popsinger

  • que bella me encanta felicidades es una maestra.
