One of the pinnacles of improvised music.

These guys show how important really listening to each other is, for great improvisation. Also you can see how they listen to and feel each note they play. A rare glimpse into the making of those amazing ECM recordings. Seeing Manfred Eicher working with, Jan Erik Kongshaug in what I presume is Rainbow Studios is also very interesting.

Oh what I wouldn't give to see/hear this whole ECM documentary. There is FAR TOO LITTLE recorded history on the inside workings the label, itself. Yet, I believe it is THE most award winning record label of the last 30+ years

It was taped from Tv over 20 years ago. A documentary produced by the norwegian Tv channel(NRK)I believe. Its long time ago, so I dont remember anything about it really. Sorry its all I got and know, but wish I had taped it all
