An interesting list. I admit may favorite Xmas songs are more contemporary. Some of my favs are Do they Know its Christmas by Band-Aid, Some Day at Christmas by Stevie Wonder, Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses, and Bruce Springsteen's version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

@RedNeckStyle1 The classic version that I'm familiar with (I'm 53) was recorded by the Ray Connif Singers. (I'm not completely sure about the spelling of Ray's last name.)

But i'm 12 and the Christmas songs i know are 'All i want for Xmas is you' and the one by slade and there is lots more but i'd be here forever....Sorry about that comment :/

Christmas is getting to comercial now a days. Now, it's all about getting or giving the best things. Well, I'll tell you right now, it's NOT about that. It's about being with the loved ones and spending time with them. We need to understand Christmas isn't for the gifts. It's about the love and time we spend together. I love the feeling of being near a warm fire with family or friends. Things have changed.. What happened?
