1) if they get a hold of you, we can not get them off

2) if you have any soap or hand sanny or loation, it can be very harmful to the bird of prey

I would love to visit a falconry centre with lots of owls and stare at the hooters, but sadly there are none close to where I live. So I like the hooter birds too.

Fortunately for Snowy Owls everywhere, they are not in any danger of going extinct--though global warming might have something to say about that soon . . .
