Pulp's original is a wonderfully melodic, massive anthem... Shatner's cover adds sardonic bite to the satirical lyrics and is a fresh, harder-hitting version... and the sheer talent shown by the forefront actor here puts the tin hat on it. NEVER seen so much expression done using SOMEONE ELSE's voice!.. this is REAL talent. And, no matter the extra pounds, he's got real sex appeal... as in the genuine kind that comes from the mind, not Jarvis Cocker's once-great, but now lost, youthful beauty ;)
