  • cool stuff .. nice i like it =)) thanks for sharing =)) god bless

  • Filipinos don't categorize what is gay and what is transgenders, they are general, they are not specific about it,That's why the ms.gay itself don't know who they really are?the agenda of gay and trans- gender is really different.they should be aware and educate their self who they are,cos when they travel in other country they can't tell to people that they are gay,and definitely they will tell that they are women.

  • @gheezyTS Wot do u mean?I dont undrstand. maybe you have to categorize them, otherwise gay men r gonna be expected to dress like women. This is the reason why many 'straight acting' gay men are often made fun of by filipinos coz they think those gay men arent being themselves. With terms such as "pa-men-ta" or "hindi sya lalaki, gay sya" or Filipinos confusing 'gender' with 'sexual orientation', In this video, these arent gay men but male2female transgenders and theres nothing wrong with that.

  • hello gay

    invite my channel

  • its just a filipino cultural thing marikitna. there are plenty of different kinds of gays in the country, transgenders and transvestites are just way more prominent compared to america or wherever you're from

  • Why do Filipinos think that being gay is the same as transgenderism? The fact that this competition is called "Miss Gay".. gay men dont wanna be women... male-to-female transgenders do! and they are two very different types of people..

  • Do you know how arrogant that sounds? I am straight, but I know that gay culture is far more advanced in the Phils, and to lecture the filipinos on what is or is not "proper" is IMO the height of presumption.

  • advanced? cant prove that... im just saying the terminology is not right.... at all

  • Once again, who decides what 'gay' means? Does the west have a monopoly on the subject? Do filipinos and Thais and Burmese have to change their ideas to suit the need of westerners to rigidly categorize everything?

Visit the region, and you will see how much more accepted homosexuality - in all its forms - is there, and how little people worry about categories and 'terminology'.

  • @andytoole "far more advanced"? you dont even have civil unions/ partnerships in the philippines! lol And yes we have to lecture Filipinos coz they bring in their beliefs and confused terminologies in the states or other countries and its embarrassing for other pinoys/ pinays like me. The genesis of all this, is when a couple of pinays asked my gay BFF to "be real" coz he was apparently 'trying too hard' to act str8. It happened twice and two different filipinos. What does that tell ya?

  • @marikitna I'm not in the Philippines, and I am not gay :-)

Have you ever been to SE Asia and seen the way homosexuality is accepted there? It makes us in the west look very bigotted and uptight by comparison. Even in Muslim Indonesia, it's generally more acceptable than here, and in Thailand and the Phils it is right out in the open.

  • @marikitna I agree with you! Real gay men are macho-looking and macho-acting. These effeminates are a big turn-off to real gay men.
