  • Sorry guys but stop bitching and play your games, whether that be pc or console and enjoy what you have.

  • PhysX on off ?

    Cuda on off ?

    Windows ?

  • nice looking. Sounds like SHIT

  • Why the F**K does it take so long for water to fall?!

  • @roxxas5 Who says it's water? Looks more like a high viscosity fluid like glycerol or something ;)

  • @roxxas5 its in slow motion to show the phyisics better

  • Uuuuuugh with the music. And whats the point if theres another version of this video with better quality in every way and more viewers? I really dont get these "reupload" attempts. Are these people 4chan trolls or something?

  • JA MAM TEZ NVIDA 9600 GT XD

  • Jak oni nalali tam tego ludwika ?

  • what? 1980´s graphics cards could do that

  • amazing..

  • Here is a fun fact for you all. A ATI 4890 with a Nvidia 250GTX as physics card (Yes its possible with a crack) runs better then a 285GTX + 250GTX :) thats because ATI is currently better at rendering while Nvidia is aiming at technologies they limit to their cards alone to lure people into buying their cards. Even so. ATI is the only ones with technology such as DX11 and Tesselation ATM. the Nvidia equalents have been postponed 2 times alredy.

Im not a fanboy, i just use whatevers the best.

  • every company screws up mate - personnaly i'd rather have a company postpone a range. rather then sell it at a high premium for the sake of it, despite it being rubbish (does the ATI 2K series ring any bells?)

i appreciate that you're saying your not a fanboy. - i too only use what i think is best. and right now, ATI with the 5 series are doing very well. but Nvidia have never been a company to back down.

  • ummmm y is this special in anyway????

  • is this only capable using a PhysX card?

  • @VinnyLT9000: yes, only from nVidia. I think its GTS8800 cards and up

  • @Franz780 All nvidia 8 series cards 8500 and up support it

  • It is possible. But the fps will be very low on software.

  • Comment removed

  • grr... nVidia is evil. I have a really good Radion card and it won't let me look at the demos.

  • YAY little big planet avatar! WOOT great physics by the way

  • why do people put bs fuckin club music over EVERYTHING.. ? cmon

  • @downwithdinosaurs Yeah...There's rarely good club music, Trance is the only good dance music O_O

  • wuoaaaww

  • Nvidia hardware cant run havok?

  • No, only PhysX.

  • Wrong? Very very wrong.

  • @kuba161195 I know it's a bit late to respond to this

but what the fuck are you on about?

all source games run havok physics, havok is actually done on the CPU not the GPU itself.

  • @kuba161195 Even nvidia can run Havok, as there is no hardware on the market dedicated for Havok...

  • It can run havok games fine. I'm not sure about the actual SDK though.

  • @illmagnified

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the PS3 use a Nivida GPU in it and can play RE5 which use Havok physics?

  • @sean007s Hey man, to be honest, Im not sure. I know the PS3 has the RSX chip which by today's standards on PC graphics hardware is quite slow...but as far as consoles are concerned it is king. The RSX is a private venture project between Sony and Nvidia so yes you are correct, as for it using the latest physics acceleration technologies wouldn't seem right...it's a dated chip which would require a hardware to open up extra pipes in the gpu...if that makes sense...

  • @sean007s PS3 Spec:

GPU: RSX @550MHz 1.8 TFLOPS floating point performance Full HD (up to 1080p) x 2 channels Multi-way programmable parallel floating point shader pipelines

Sound: Dolby 5.1ch, DTS, LPCM, etc. (Cell-base processing)

That doesn't look like NVidea to me. :D

  • @illmagnified havok is the physx engine on ati video cards.

  • ati pays you, for come here to say that and talk all this shit?

    fanboys... So Sad ...

nvidia is the big fuckin' pioneer, men, this is the problem that you dont want understand? its the same shit with intel-amd..

Read books, study, and go here, and say again your new opinion.

    Best Regards.-

  • i forgot;

Low camera for more detail and moving of particles, not slime -.-

  • yeah, ati wastes their money for me to sit here.....

I support ATI AMD because I KNOW. I've owned both brands between processor/graphics, and for the money, ATI/AMD is way fucking better. Sure if you want to spend 1000 on a intel core i7 extreme and 500 on a 295, go for it, but I will get the same frame rates with my AMD 6000 with a 4870 1Gb. The fact that everyone think the processor matters in games today shows how unintelligent they are. Review sites are biased and such is your opinion.

  • WOOOO! Indeed. IMO Intel FTW.

  • who cares xD its physx! :D its beutifull! :D

  • LoL :D

  • @darkolon0 Just so you know - the reason this is so amazing is cause the computer by itself is controling all those little tiny dots to make it act like a liquid - this is amazing cause 99% of computers couldn't even control even a hundredth of that withought moving slow or messing up. So the sheer power behind this clip is a whats amazing. If you don't believe me open notepad or any other word processor and type a bunch then copy and paste it like or more times - i bet it freezes unlike this 1

  • i just think its amazing how the surroundings interact with eachother. not the fake animated stuff. real time ftw!

  • hahaha yeah sure xD

  • @GarrenttBMXes

Apparently allot of people disagree with you.

  • apparently, i don't even remember what i put there. Kinda makes me feel shitty :\

  • I'm very sure it happens to everyone.

  • ahem... i have a geforce 5200 fx and i can do all that shit, with some tweaking and stuff, i can do that at a steady frame rate!

  • :O But I didn't think early GeForce supported PhysX

  • what fuckraped music -.-

  • this is what God might have felt like while testing His laws of physics.

  • Great card for that price mate, nice little purchase :)

  • gdzie można pobrać ten bajer>?

  • i hax a 9600gt :P gunnah sli soon

  • Nie wlaczyl by.

  • fucking powerful graphic card! 0.0'

  • dobry filmik nagralem taki sam na 9600gso daje 5/5

  • This real time demo is about 3 times faster then my non real time fluid solver. But at this point its still not good enough for mainstream. if they can improve there drivers for this and use more approximation and not try and calculate every particle it should speed up.

  • fuck you there good unless your n00b

  • fuck you dumb fuck

  • NVIDIA is good maybe you have a crappy MB? Or your power supply is too crappy to run an NVIDIA GPU at full speed? NVIDIA is currently number 1 graphics producer, ATI is behind them and NVIDIA is always first to introduce new technology's, ATI always catches up with NVIDIA, they cant get ahead of NVIDIA. So obviously your a complete N00B to graphics.

  • If you are so fucking expert then tell me how to solve NVLDDMKM. But you are NOOB and you even dont know what Im writing about. OK I have Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R and on ASUS P5N-D I haves exact same problem My PSU is 600W and its TAGAN so it is perfect for my GPU. But there is one explanation which have sense... some games causing problems because not all games causing this problems and I can play for long periods. Some games are made not good.

  • I just downloaded a simple driver from NVIDIA and it's fixed. I haven't gotten that annoying error since. All you have to do is Google it.

  • yeah, thats ALWAYS the problem!

  • Até parece, mal sabe falar direito inglês!

  • Horrible English.

  • Very nice Demo

  • you have sex with games?

  • lmao pwned

  • epic pwnage

  • @Terr0c1ty Yes, yes I do.

  • How colisions between particles are compute?

ex.: if there are 10e6 particles, there should be 10e12 colisions to check! It is impossible - there should be magic algoritm, but who konows that?

  • The music you've put through the video made me Hate Nvidia ... Now everything I see the Nvidia sign Im like "UUGHH!" ....

  • I agree, the music is disgusting and totally unrelated, but I still love Nvidia.

  • can i do this with the gigabyte 9600gt 1gb turboforce plezzzz tell me

  • Yes, yes it will. I ran the Froggy and Adriane demos on my 512mb 9600GT.

  • I really hope you're a chick (which I doubt) because you're listening the most gayest song ever...

  • your music is a fucking shit!!

  • Can i do this with a 9600m GS 1GB Card

  • Yes.

    Is there such a thing?

  • Nope. I think there is a 9600m, but I don't know where the GS is from... Or if it has 1GB of memory.

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is a 9600M, because I saw a laptop with 9800M's in SLI (that's crazy, imagine the heat :P).

GS, maybe denotes that it's weaker than the 9600 GT cards (remember the 8800 GSO vs GT?)

  • Forget about 9800Ms, the alienware m17x has two GTX 280M's in SLI which is even crazier lol.

  • Dude, never get SLI, its framerate is tooo fucking glitchy. I prefer my 9800 GTX+ over my dual 8700 GTs's, because it doesn't randomly lag.

  • i have dual 280m's and i havent gotten lag at all

  • I am guessing they upgraded SLI.

  • drivers, drivers, drivers... lol

at leas we can agree the music is dumb and doesnt fit xD

  • seems slow for a cuda

  • Zajebiste.

  • I also have got 9600 GT iChill n it rocks...

  • oh yeah ATI is going to wipe the floor with Nvidia when they get the license to incorporate physx into their cards

    ATI RULES!

  • PhysX was written entirely be Nvidia for GeForce processors. In order for them to license it to ATI, they would have to be out of their mind and they'd have to completely re write it to interface with the processors properly.

Face it, Nvidia thought of it first and implemented it first.

Not to mention that Nvidia will own ATIs ass with their release of 3D vision...

  • may be tru about the physx thing but its going to happen. as for the 3d vision,

ati will have it eventually. i prefer to wait for quality. instead of having crap gear now.

  • You really think ATI is that bold to completely copy Nvidia's 3d vision?

  • yep couldnt have said it better myself... and what is with the color scheme of ATI?.?.? RED??

    Green and Black is awesome

  • NVIDIA rocks!!!!!!!!!

  • 9600gt wymiata!!! :):):)

  • can someone please tell me in a Ge Force 290 core is better. I don't know graphics card well but I play lots of games.

  • That's some hella nice water

  • To the person that uploaded this,

did you purchase a PhysX Accelerator?

i have a 9700m GT on an asus G50V-A1 laptop and i was told it came with PhysX support, and this exact demo runs with about 1.3 fps on my computer :[

    any thoughts?

  • the CUDA cards have PhysX support build into the card itselfe, all cards from the 9 series have it, duno about the laptop version.

desktop version of a video card can be alot difrent than the laptop version tough in performance and such

  • All the 8 series cards now have PhysX support, as of the last driver updates. Which is quite nice for me. =D

  • That is freak'n awesome. I don't think anyone has any idea of the calculations that go into mirroring fluid physics. I am curious: Can it take in data of heat, pressure, temp, wind speed and fluid-air (chaos) and predict the flow of raindrops rolling down a windshield? At nearly 4 teraflops, I'm guessing this is possible. Climate data churned by a crew armed with several of these can feed superlative data into the bigger machines. Very awesome and major five stars!

  • name of music plx :)

  • Dan Winter - Get The Party Started (2.8 Original Mix)

  • ?? lol wtf?

  • Wow!!! Ta karta wymiata... :D
