The scene at Medieval Times where Chip asks for Steven's chicken skin and then performs his The Silence of the Lambs impression was all improvised. During one take, Carrey asked for the chicken skin out of nowhere. After doing the "Silence of the Lambs" bit, director Ben Stiller loved it and wanted to keep it in the film even though it wasn't in the script. If you look at Matthew Broderick's face during this scene, you can tell he is cracking up. His reaction is a genuine laugh.

I love this part,I've been to this restaurant twice and it's so cool,a little expensive though. You get 2 drinks(beer,Pepsi,Diet Pepsi or water)dragons soup(tomatoe soup) 1/2 baked chicken,1 bbq rib,1/2 a potatoe,1 piece of garlic toast which is pretty good and a small apple pie for dessert for about $50.
