@erectionaffection it's resting in peace now, but the mods are EVX-2 ESC, 4200NiMH 7 cell batteries on stock Titan Motors. it went pretty good. Come to think about it, the truck is nearly 10 years old lol, lasted a long time. Have the 4908 T-Maxx now. Go Traxxas!

My jato and rustler won't go through more than 2-3 inches of snow even with paddles on the back of them, here in WI we get more than 2-3 inch of snow. the jato & rustler do OK as long as i get a running start at the snow but other than that they get hung up - spin and bury themselves. the 4x4's will pull themselves along deep stuf

@gunnerneikoify Tmaxx And Revo are both 4 wheel drive with more clearance than alot of Traxxas cars(Modeled after trucks), Which helps alot in the snow. Also, When you have a two wheel drive car such as the Jato or Rustler, You dont get much clearance, and two wheel drive is bad in the snow. No matter how much power there is. Good things for two wheel drives in snow: Donuts, And drifting. You can run those in the streets and run your trucks in the grass and dirt.And also,Nice collection of cars.

@pubetube9090 even though the maxx and revo are 4x4 and naturally sit higher off the ground I still need to set them up as high as they will go to get the ground clearance to go through snow more than 3-4 inch deep or they will drag just like the rustler and jato, just not as bad. Been in this business for about 17yrs and have yet to find a 2 wheel drive that does any real good in the snow, unless it's hard packed.

I mean traxxas blasts ads on and in everything saying that their E-maxx is fully waterproof from the ESC to the servo's to the Rx box? mayve my eyes have been deceiving me? I dunno but I do know saran wrap and zip ties isnt the answer! they make a waterproofing substance called liquid tape and plastic dip, you can either submerge your stuff or disassemble your elect. and brush it on. it works very well and it comes in clear

Nice i have an 14.4 with an evx-2 myself and waterproofed too but since the motors are in the middle of the chasis my 7 cell humps rub with the motors and get hot because the motors do not too hot tho but its hot enough to melt the plastic any tips?

they're 7 cell Powerizer 4200's NiMH batteries. I think with the stock 21T Titan's the top speed was 26-27mph and 36mph on the 12T Titan motors.

you'll want to cover your receiver and the original EVX ESC, both are not water proof. other than that I never had any problems in the snow.

The Brand is Powerizer, any pair of 8.4v batteries are going to be power upgrade if you got the 16.8 ESC setup for it. Remember mine's the old E-Maxx.

yep, I used the stock Titans in this video with the 8.4's. It's a good power up for the old maxx. Just make sure your slipper clutch is adjust right or you'll be buying a lot of drive shafts.
