No this is not true. VDM doesn´t make clips that look worse when they´re rendered. It ALL depends about the quality you put in and in YOUR settings of your codec.

To be honest that I don´t know if VDM is a rip off, but this sounds like nonsense too.

I can't hear the audio or see the text. I like Jimmyrcom's tutorials better, one of them mentions ZoomIt, which will help with the text part. I recommend Goldwave for the audio.

Hi very good video. Tried MSU codec with a similar-sized input AVI but I aborted after processing overnight and it still wanted another 12 hours. The codec apears to have been updated now. Could you please do this video again with the updated codec explaining some of the advanced settings? Thanks mate.
