It's a shame the game isn't even near the quality as the music! They should never have has numbered final fantasy games as MMO experiments - why not make a seperate FF side-franchise as they usually do!
@ Kaggypants Actually, FFXII's Music was pretty good, as for FFXIII, i totally agree with you. Nice music, I'm guessing this music would be for a boss or something like that. Reminds me of "Tough Battle" from FFXI
@Eseenceblade I liked FFXII's rendition of Battle on the Bridge and Kiss Me Goodbye. 12 at LEAST had one (two in this case) soundtrack(s) to make it credible. Overall, though, it suffered due to over-orchestration. This trend followed through directly to FFXIII. And anyone who says FFXIII has 'good' music pretty much is grasping at straws. Leona Lewis is all that needs to be said.
12 has the best soundtrack in the series IMO, and 13 has an incredible battle theme. And man, I've been playing Final Fantasy since 4(2) on SNES was new, so I know my stuff. I kinda don't get how even within FF fanboyism, there're people who're such fanboys for even a specific musician that they can't even enjoy wonderful things by other musicians WORKING ON THE SAME SERIES.

I don't believe you know anything about music based on your front page alone. Do you even play an instrument? Generalizing me as a fanboy is poor logic. I just realize how true compositions are derived. I might have cared about your opinion had your front page shown me any evidence that suggests you know what true music entails.

this one is my favoirite. better than battle 3 or battle 1 . P.S ff13 sux donky balls compared to the rest of the series. ff14 better be worth it .
