My sister is married to a pastor of a Methodist church and they have caused me the most harm of anyone I can think of. It's unbelievable, and they are "leading a flock," giving Bible classes to children. I always wonder how much "goodness" they can possibly be teaching people in the care of their church. It's people like them that guarantee that I will never enter a church again. Hypocrites.

The bible states many will be willingly ignorant! As Christians YES we repent and continue to make mistakes becasue we are still of this world. TRUE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST ARE NOT PERFECT but God certainly expects us to strive for PERFECTION (make a conscience effort) to AVOID SIN. If you are truly saved and repentant then if and when you backslide you will be broken, & remorseful.

The Truth is that many who profess as being Christian, may not be. Many today invest in fire insurance but do not fear the Lord because they do not know who GOD is. Many believe in Christ but have not been converted. If the husband in this clip has no conviction of his behavior and this pattern continues, chances are is that he doesn't love the Lord our GOD and his neighbors (wife & kids) with all of his Heart mind soul & strength & may need to work out his salvation with fear and trembling.

Well the movie is about a certain issue, but holy or holiness is not the agenda of the movie, in fact the movie has nothing to do with holiness. Holy has 2 components 1) something set aside, and 2) the ability to perform a specific aspect of God's will or prodigious ability. The husband lack of integrity can't always be judged externally or understood within the moment as the only issue.

Lying isn't acting like a Christian. And saying your a Christian doesn't make you a Christian. So, when we lie, we are being ungodly, which is why we have to repent.

Yes, repent is need to do. But if you believe to God, I have never heardt that someone has been rejected from religion - and many are baptized also. May not be a good Christian, but I never seen that preventing lies, in a real world. But lies can not be hided forever.

You and the people you associate with may lie, but not everyone lies. Read the Scripture I gave, how many liars will have their part in the lake of fire? Just those that do not profess salvation, or is it ALL LIARS? The true believer does not live the lifestyle of the average professing believer. The unsaved professing believer cannot understand being born again and being freed from sin, because they have never experienced it.

@SAMYNIZER It is not about me, it is about the grace of God. Before salvation I was a full sinner. I acted like many professing Christians act, but when I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and turned my life over to Him I was instantly and radically changed. People cannot understand holiness when they do not know the grace of God, and if they are still living in sin they do not know His grace. Titus 2:11-12 is clear about what the true grace of God teaches. May the Lord reveal His grace to you.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda.......hey, we should act like Christians, however, even if we are saved and have Jesus in our hearts, we still have the sin nature in us. The good news is that we have forgiveness if we ask for it. It doesn't me that we can go on sinning, it means that we must strive for perfection because Jesus was perfect. Perfection does not come until we leave our bodies.

I try to do my best and know that Jesus is with me and loves me despite myself.

This video makes an excellent point made. Too bad those who need to see it won't check their email until their 'gaming' is over, which is when they fall asleep. When wives figure out what's going on, it's divorce and child support. He might have to actually work two jobs. We reap what we sow. The children will grow up bonded to their mature, responsible mom. What this has to do with Christianity, I don't know. All human beings should be above this kind of self-interest.

The video states that the Bible "should" make you holy. The whole point is that sadly this is not the case with many so-called Christians. The Bible tells us to be holy as God is holy, and holy literally means separated. It means be separated from sin. So we cannot say we are Christians and act another way, that is hypocrisy. Thanks to the grace of God we are not perfect, but are forgiven, and should strive to be as perfect as we can be, in love, not in a boastful way. It is not nonsense.
