best thing to do is speed up, because here the trailer is trying to faster than the truck and hitting brakes is worse, best if trailer had brakes but next best thing as b4 is to speed up so u are back in control.

Trailers are more subject to sway when there is not enough weight on the hitch. Maybe the boat's center of gravity was too far aft on the trailer.

U cant stop a trailer like that when it starts swayin like that u just have to let off the pedal and coast till it regains control

this cant be real...no flashing lights from the cop for the longest time, then no braking from anyone from the looks of it, until the very end. then when it finally flipped, id think the first thing would be to put the lights on, but that cant happen either..

What idiot could possibly think he would outrun the cops pulling a GIANT boat behind him?

I have a Corvette Z06 which I use to pull a long tongue PWC trailer (at least I did until I sold my Sea-Doo), and even I couldn't outrun the cops given the handling characteristics of my car w/ trailer and a police cruiser without one. What a moron.

@flamineon7 why is pulling a trailer with a Corvette bad? Compare it to a Chevy Silverado or Tahoe, it has a stiffer frame, same engine only with more power, wider tires, and massive brakes. Plus the trailer I was pulling only weighed 2000 lbs, and I could manually push it up my inclined driveway by myself, so obviously a Corvette would be more than qualified to do the job.

@travelbytommy other than it has no wieght to it...the frame is also not stirdier than a truck frame it needs to be light i don't know where you get that from. sure your corvette does the job and im not knocking you for that but why not pull with a truck?
