警員都係人，佢哋都有權保護自己性命。如果你要批評香港警察，唔該你先睇下其它國家啲警察執法嘅態度。就算係美國警察，你大聲啲鬧佢，佢已經會激到開槍打死你啦。有人襲警，警察就有權開槍，有邊個國家唔係咁樣？一個成功嘅社會，係需要有power嘅警力。如果政府控制唔到市民，邊個去維持秩序呀？喺香港做警察真係辛苦，做得幾好，啲市民都係唔識尊重。有事嗰陣就去叫救命搵警察，冇事嗰陣就喺度投訴。The police force in any government is there to control and maintain a peace society, assaulting an officer is a serious crime in any country, the officer has all the right to discharge his/her firearm to stop the assault. A powerful police force is important for a successful region. Stop complaining.

2. how do you define "fatel weapon"? Unless you have practised the Chinese martial art, like "Iron Head" or "Chi Kung", I believe in most of cases you would definitely be dead/ seriously injury after knocked by that broken chair.
3. keep moving around is a correct movement, because he wanted to stay a "safe distance" away from the man...it also reinforces point no.1 that the man kept approaching to him
@Sosogang 4. as the man kept approaching to the officer, with a "weapon" (just forget whether it is fatal or not at this stage of discussion), how do you define "forceing"? put like this, someone holds a broken chair and aproaches to you
5. why say so? I dun see any reports (official or not) say that officer shot the man at the back?

7. Yet, we, all the people, including the officer, do not want this happen again, we feel sorry and sad to the man

@spybouncer if you were the policeman, what would you do ??? now, you can sit back and watch this video and say "i would do this and do that " if someone lose his mind and attack you like a mad dog, you may do the same thing to him. it is a natural instinct for a man to protect himself at any cost. i don't think it will be a problem if the attacker is a chinese. unfortunately, he happened to be a so called"minority" , i feel sorry for the policeman

做得啱。香港警察太仁慈啦。你睇下美國啲警察啦，開槍跟本諗都唔使諗，話開就開，拔槍已經係日常嘅事，所以美國嘅市民先會咁聽話。香港警察應該做事堅決啲，惡啲，市民先識得去驚，識得去尊重警察。唔好俾自己啲市民嚇翻轉頭。

@Xplenovo 聽唔明警察講嘢，唔代表可以襲警啩。佢嘅行爲似乎同言語無關。好似如果喺美國，有啲唔識聽英文嘅人，警察大聲用英文鬧，佢仲襲擊警員，一樣會被槍擊，分分鐘開得仲快，美國警察開槍跟本諗都唔使諗，話開就開。香港警察已經算係好仁慈啦。

1. the policeman was in a safe distant from the "culprit"
2. the "culprit" had not got any fatal weapon in his hand at all
3. look at the policeman himself: he kept on moving around+around; this showed that he was in an unstable state of mind
4. he himself kep on crying out "Don't force me ! Don't force me !" while actually no one was forcing him !!
5. eventually he shot at the back of the "culprit" while the "culprit"' was with his back facing the policeman ! 6. may Justice prevail

如果此警察行為是正確的,那麼全港所有警察都可以單獨巡查.當面對任何拒捕者,都可以因為自己身體柔弱不能逮捕對方,而開槍射殺他們?如果兩人巡查,不是否可以容易些制服對方,減低不必要的暴力嗎?執政者有問題你必須面對它而不是忽視或逃避它.你說話卑劣，淺陋!我猜你不會明白這個沒有加上粗口的簡單概念.

唉！睇落係個南亞裔男子追住警察o棃打。做警察唔係個個好似成龍咁打得。唔夠打掉頭走就話你無能，硬住頭皮同佢砌又話人地用櫈啫，你有棍同楜椒噴霧都唔夠打，仲開槍打人地個頭。諗下掉轉係你比人追住打，又唔夠佢打兼叫佢唔停，你又會點。
