Question, I'm the guy in the back of the boat, my friend the owner of the boat is upfront and likes wind drifting. Do you anchor or drift mostly when jig fishing when in a boat? Are jigs for me?
@Bluebuzzkidd Pretty self explanatory, really. If you see any kind of cover that you think may be holding fish, cast it in that area, and fish it thoroughly. Stumps, docks, rocks, stick-ups, and any kind of cover is where your jig needs to be. I think one important thing that needs to be understood is the fact that jigs really need to be fished slow on many occasions. Jigs work great when fish are on the bottom, and if they're on the bottom, they will be pretty sluggish on a lot of occasions.
And people are always saying how they " set the hook " i never have to do that the bass always just swallow the bait if your talking about yanking back the second you feel a little knibble how do i tune my reflexes to do that lol ?
@iTzMeThoDz if you allow the bass to totally swallow it you will kill the fish. what works for me is as soon as I feel the hit, tap, or line moves I say to myself "there he is" and then set the hook. works well. if you lay lumber immediately you will miss the fish if you wait too long it will go down the throat and you will kill the fish
After watching 17 bass fishing vids which supposedly claim "basic bass fishing tips", I finally found what I was looking for. It took a week of wading through the bullshit, i.e. what kind of metal i used in the jiggs, how much they cost..........EVERYTHING except getting to the damn point. Sorry , but I was pissed. Great video!

@thefishmaster123 Just try to get a weedless jig, keep it out as much as you can. Otherwise there's really nothing different to do.
