The B-52's started in '78-'79 which is around the same time as the Rizvillos. The New New Wave bands of the last 5 years sold tons of music so they must mean something to people but in my opinion the giddiness of we are leaving the ugly '70's heading into the future is missing from the new groups.

I wrote that a year ago. Since then the electropop or wonky pop acts that have started to emerge do have elements of the old giddy kooky spirit. Groups like VV Brown,Lady Ga Ga ,Florence and The Machine etc.

The answer is NO. I know Fred and gave him my Revillos / Rezillos albums about 2 years ago and he had never owned any of their music before.

Christ, this makes the hair my back stand on end. Absolutly brilliant. I'm getting too fuckin old now. The Kinema Ballroom in Dunfermline was THE place 1977-80 to go. Its were I first saw Rezillo's. FUCKIN AWESOME
