open it up....i have dedicated one day were I took apart my 4 tech I mean,all apart arms motor clutch....i mean all ...it will help u learn on how the car works and what u need to replace on it ...take eazy start apart and look if gears are smashed and if maybe u cant try to but a pull start....its better but idk if u can fit it all on there

i cant ever keep mine in tune,always wants to sputter out after about 5 minuts of run time,are there any articles that show you how to properly set the carb? would love it if there as an injection system for it.that would be so sweet,

The 4tec 3.3 will do 70mph in a heartbeat, this was a 4tec 2.5 AND as it said in the vid, second gear was stripped, and thats the real speed gear.

his engine mount moved in the stack and caused bad gear mesh. thats why it stripped a gear

i think it was going faster than that the problem is the 4tec is too small for any radar so the reading may be wrong

guys, i am the creator of the video + footage + one of the drivers. (blue yellow car that doesnt flip)

these cars engines are over 35 litres (10gal) old at the time of this video. Still running great but definately past their prime with the performance.

we have got a lock diff at the front. balldiff in the rear. and a r40 clutch which is a Centax Clutch

its a "speedchek" personal sports radar designed for hockey, golf, tennis etc but for a little bit more you can get a bushnell radar gun but they require a 2nd person to use.

hot wheels even make a speed gun for 20bucks, works ok for the price!
