I reiterate the point that these courts are simply set up in order to allow muslims to practice their religion correctly. These courts are not legally binding and the participants CHOSE to abide by the rulings. If the sisters have a problem with the court's ruling then they can simply sue in a legally binding court.

If you go to "The Legal Project" website, in the article "Defamation of Religion", it states "the Islamic Conference ("OIC") has sponsored and actually pushed to passage a UN resolution CALLING ON COUNTRIES to criminalize what it terms..." I reiterate the point that these courts are simply set up in order to allow muslims to practice their religion correctly. These courts are not legally binding and the participants CHOSE to abide by the rulings. If the sisters have a problem with the court's ruling then they can simply sue in a legally binding court.

@uncleady1 the quran gives a specific case in which it advises muslims to bring two men or one man and two women as witnesses. the fact that it is a specific case makes it unclear weather or not the same applies to all cases and muslims argue about this using other verses from the quran as a context. If you go to "The Legal Project" website, in the article "Defamation of Religion", it states "the Islamic Conference ("OIC") has sponsored and actually pushed to passage a UN resolution CALLING ON COUNTRIES to criminalize what it terms..." The key phrase in this sentence is "calling on countries". Which means that countries are Not Legally Bound to do so. So again it seemed fishy to me that the UN would pass a "free speech" law that is binding.

Islamic world was once hundreds and hundreds years ago very civilized and very scientifcally advanced, and Europe drew many influences there. But the islamic world has not developed grealy in a thousand years. Europe and other Western countries have.

If Palestinians die at a quicker rate than Israelis, it means that they are losing the war they have declared against Israel. So what? If these Arabs want a war then must be prepared to die. Hopefully they will come to their senses, accept that Israel is a state that is not going away and make a truce. hen they may have a better life.
