As a Link main, it's nice to see him getting somewhere in tournaments instead of just Meta Knights and Snakes.

I wish I could play this guy, I doubt I'd last 2 minutes against him with my Link, but I just want the pleasure of getting my ass handed to me by a great Link player.

doesn't matter. I already played the full version and my first match i was waaaay better than the lucario. Lucario didnt seem to concerned about landing and blocking so he wouldnt get hit. pretty foolish.

That was mostly the fault of the stage's traps IMO. Those cars are deadlier than ever now.

That's prett much true. Two fo the three fights where he fought J666 as Pit, he won. Even though most videos I've seen of J666 fighting Waffle, J666 won (Waffle wasn't using Pit).

In the end, even with Link being a bit faster in Brawl (about average speed overall now, compared to his relative slowness in Melee), Pit seems faster still, and though weaker, he's not TOO weak that he can't knock someone out of the ring with his smash attacks.

If you play Melee good then you'll play Brawl at least decent.

The moves are generally the same it's just that the game mechanics are a little different.

Perhaps lucario has less traction than most characters? On another video someone thought luigi wavelanded but it was just luigi being luigi. Wavedashing was changing your direction with an air-dodge after leaving the ground from a jump. In brawl you can't control the direction you go with an air-dodge, you keep the same momentum.

Also now you can jump after an air-dodge, or attack, or air dodge again. That to me sounds like a lot of fun, samus vs samus aerial missile dodging fun.

That would depend on how good you were at using it =P

It allowed for more combos, more mindgames, and it really sped up characters like Ganon and Samus.
