I love everything about the Southwest, but Big Bend National Park is my favorite area. I've hiked and backpacked almost 3,000 miles of the Texas Trans-Pecos desert mountain parks (Big Bend, Guadalupe Mountains NP, and Big Bend Ranch State Park). I never get tired of going back. In fact, I just completed my sixth trip on the Marufo Vega Trail, one of the finest in the park.
Kinda reminds me of a mix between Arizona/Deep Desert Nevada/ and New Mexico--Nothing like MOAB--Definitly NOT. (M O A B RULES!!!)...We're leaving this week to Big Bend-----Thanks for the THUMBS UP VIDEO--"MY DEAR"......
Its crazy but I live in texas and I have been to the Grand Canyon, Arches, yellowstone, olympic and almost every other national park in the west but never big bend, I am so dying to go
My favorite memory of my father was our trip to Big Bend and our hike to the south rim. He was in amazing shape for his age and it was one of our last things we did together since he died in 2001. Thanks for sharing this.
Honestly its prettier than it looks! I was at big bend for about a month!! and Terlingua ghost town is great too!! ive been to the Grand Canyon.. but iloved big bend the most :)
The descriptive remarks are helpful regarding distances and orientation. We plan our first trip to BBNP soon. Your video shows us what we might anticipate. Thanks
you guys that live in the States are so fortunate to have such genuine wilderness to enjoy. you are spoilt for choice! live it up ;-0
