@Boomsmackme I read that in an interview in 1979 with FBI veteran Robert Ressier, Berkowitz admitted that he invented the son of sam stories so that if caught he could convince the court that he was insane. He found killing the women to be sexually arousing. I still feel for him, people like him were born into broken families and broken neighbourhoods. He was a product of his environment.

Anyone would think this maggot's about to receive a civic reward for good services to the community the way he's greeted in the beginning of the interview. I love how many (not saying all) Christians condemn gay people to eternal hell, but forgive serial killers because they have "found god." By that logic, if a gay person, or atheist person, runs an orphanage for children all his/her life but doesn't believe in god, he/she is doomed to hell. Dear Governor Pataki, I am writing to you with regards to my parole hearing which is scheduled for June 2002. Sir, I am so sorry for the pain, grief and suffering I have caused many innocent people by my criminal acts of some twenty-five years ago. I am haunted by my actions and I would do anything to undo this tragedy. I know that I have failed and disappointed my loving family, and I disgraced myself for the rest of my life.

The claim that he asked for a review of his parole hearing is absolutely 100 percent false. It is a deliberate lie. You know absolutely nothing of the truth about him.

David Berkowitz the man DIED when he was born again spiritually. He is now a totally new creature in Christ. As Christians we identify with Jesus' death on the Cross when we are born again, are buried with Him through baptism and is ressurrected in Christ into a new life. God doesn't do patch jobs. @CaneFu If you are not born again you are spiritually dead and cannot understand the spiritual things of God, so it's useless to try and explain. And you cannot "fake" to be born again. It comes over like a fingerprint. David is being punished physically for what he's done, which is right, but spiritually he is blameless before God because Jesus Christ took the blame and the punishment for his and all of the world's sins upon Himself on the Cross.

I understand the "born-again" concept very well as I was raised in a Christian church and I studied the Bible for decades so don't talk to me like I am ignorant about it. And the fact is that it's nothing more than a bunch of nonsense and being "born-again" as I once thought I was is nothing more than religious delusion. I prefer to live in reality and not in some fantasy as you do.

@LocoGroove haha there would still be murders but I believe some homicides,definitely assassin's and cereal killers have been brainwashed.Over 10% of people go missing in the US and never get found,imagine the entire world.Many times the parents have been the abuser,and created the person who is now creating the murders,there's always has something to do in their childhood that led them off path.
