  • how does she know that humans are not supposed to eat meat? why do we eat it?

  • Also b12 deficiency takes about 5+ years to become a deficiency because our body recycles it. We really dont need much b12 and people go way too crazy over it, and its ignorant to just vegans (and vegetarians!) in general will be b12 deficiency. But if I was vegan, I'd personally take a vegan b12 supplement because I have neurological problems anyway

  • My husband and I are newly vegan (6 weeks) , and b12 is definitely on my list of concerns. I appreciate the reassurance and info.

My husband has been itching all over for a couple weeks now . He's in the process of sorting it out with medical professionals. Just curious if you know of anything relating to being vegan that might cause that ( deficiency , detox etc..)

  • You have some of the most informative and comprehensive videos on nutrition that I have come across. Thank you so much for your commitment to factual information and education. My country especially (America) is in desperate need. I also thank you for advocating supplementation when necessary and acknowledging the health risk involved with being a purist. For better or worse, we no longer live in an entirely natural world and need to operate within certain confines in order to survive.

  • To all fellow vegans and would be vegans, I have some sources of Vitamin B-12: Fermented Soya Beans (yuck!), Sea vegetables, Spirulina, and, drum roll please, Pollen! Go find dandelions growing anywhere, pluck them and eat them, or throw them in a blender. You know how little B-12 you should have each day -- upwards of 2,000 mcg, or 2 mg, or 1/500 of a gram!

  • I agree with you on the supplement topic. While it's important to get nutrition from our diets, sometimes supplements are necessary, especially considering how we eat. There are plenty of supplements that are pure, it's just a matter of educating yourself and shopping in the right stores. The typical supermarket and drug stores are not good places to buy vitamins. Addditionally, fermented foods are a good option for vegans looking to up their B-12 levels. Kombucha is my choice. Yum.

  • I love fruits.... but, pigs are not my friends, I would eat them as well XD

  • ULURU pic! Love it. Way to go on the B12 supplementation advice! I'm a medical student who also happens to be vegan. Even if people do not want to get their B12 levels checked because they are worried about cost, being that its a water soluble vitamin, if they take a multivitamin or some other supplementation, they are at no risk of B12 toxicity. (Sorry, run on sentence). Especially women that are trying to get pregnant or are pregnant (prenatal vitamins are not a joke, regardless of your diet!)

  • Celiac can be genetic. How come vegans NEVER mention genetics. Also your metabolic rate and build are mostly genetic. This idea that everyone will respond to the same diet in exactly the same way is naive. The longest living people in the world are Okinawans, Sardinians, and the Adventist. Okinawans and Sardinians eat a very small amount of meat. Very little but they do eat it. Adventist are vegetarian for sure. Sardinians eat a bunch of a pecorino sardo and drink Cannonau.

  • Trust me people do not do 80 10 10. Copper will accumulate in your tissues.

  • No it is not B12 it is zinc that is the problem. Phytic acid in vegetable proteins means you absorb almost no zinc. This increases the absorption of copper and all vegans have a condition known as copper personality where they are very emotional and crave sugar (fruit) because their adrenals are burnt out as zinc produces cortisol. The vegan community are all very defensive and spiritual about veganism which is another sign. Soon the zinc deficiency gets so bad they cannot digest protein.

  • @JDO9700 Sorry, that's called passion. And if that were true, then the healthiest people wouldn't be vegans. There's a 72 year old vegan who hasn't shown signs of aging past 40 years old. Craving sugar (and eating fruit to satisfy it) doesn't signify anything except you know how to healthfully handle a sugar craving. A+ for originality though. I've heard a lot of bs to get people to stray away from a healthy, compassionate vegan diet, but none like yours.

  • @courtneylustic01 No doubt about it, all vegans are somewhat deficient in zinc at tissue level. Wonder why they completely shy off any protein? Because they have not got sufficient enzymes to digest protein as zinc is a co-factor. The only reason I know this is because I went through exactly the same thing when I had copper toxicity from a vegetarian diet.

  • @JDO9700 No I don't. Because they don't. Every fruit contains protein, so that would contradict your previous statement about craving sugar. You might have had heavy metal poisoning, but it wasn't from a vegetarian diet. I'm a vegetarian, and I'm fine. You can't assumptions from one bad experience. That's like someone saying a dog bit them, so all dogs bite.

  • @courtneylustic01 "then the healthiest people wouldn't be vegans" - citation needed.

"There's a 72 year old vegan who hasn't shown signs of aging past 40 years old." - citation needed.

"I've heard a lot of bs" - read statements from above.

  • @Kdnce Talk to any vegan, check out some famous vegans like Alicia Silverstone or Ellen Degeneres, or even some vegan youtubers. Those that are educated and do it right, do it well, and are healthier than meat eaters. If you need to know WHY, then do the research yourself on the pros and cons of a meat diet versus a vegan one.

As far as the 72 year old vegan (she may be 71, not positive) search Mimi Kirk.

  • @Kdnce God, look at this chick right here! Yeah, the one whose page you're on. She lost tons of weight, kept it off, and now lives healthier than ever because of a raw, vegan diet.

  • The thing that would worry me about a shot of b12 is 'What else is in the shot?' (besides the b12)

  • 1 big glass of almond milk = 100% b12 ggnuffsaid

  • @blazerownsyou If almond milk has b12 its because it was added. You might as well just take a supplement.

  • @Stimpaka except almond milk tastes good and I'd be drinking it anyways

  • @blazerownsyou: I'm a vegan also... please keep in mind that if 1-3 micrograms of B12 are needed every day, it is not enough to consume just these amounts, because not everything is resorbed by your body. Veg1 for example contains 10 micrograms and one should take 1 of them each day.

  • You are too thin.

  • @MegaSmud She's lean , & she has narrow hips pal. Should she fire down a bunch of olive oil. Is that what you want pal. Huh . . . . . .

  • Anything above 170 is considered normal so your friend is fine.

  • Methyl B12 is awesome. I've never had a good reaction to the cyano form.

  • I'd like to know your take on negative type blood and meat, specially O... It seems we O- need meat in our diet.

  • Did you check Dr. Robert Morse's opinion on B12? He says eating loads of fruits can repair most bodies which could not produce B12 before eating loads of fruits.

  • It is time somebody made a video like this to expose the bullshit about B12 and vegans. Thank you for making this video! It's excellent.

  • @MetalMistress888 Durianrider/Harley, Freelea and scads of other vegans take b12 supplements. We're omnivore due to our biology(it's not culture fundamentally). Try living out in the wild to put the idea to the test.

  • @ToolsnFire In the wild we would be practically frugivorous, as in its natural state fruit is really the only food that is appealing to us or digestable (this is covered in the 80/10/10 book). Our bodies have lost the ability to absorb B12 - possibly due to the damage we have done to our genetics and DNA by eating processed meat for so long. As the video shows, even many meat-eaters need B12 supplimentation! - so how does that fact fit in with your simplistic omnivore theory?

  • @MetalMistress888, where in the wild can you live 'practically frugivorous' sustainably?

Our natural environment and evolution has made us omnivores. Tools and the making and use of fire have been fundamental in our evolution, and in particular with making our human foods, allowing us to thrive and evolve into the species we are. Meat and animal products are good for us, in balance with the rest of a balanced omnivorous diet, which is variable per person. Cooked food is fundamental.

  • @ToolsnFire well then - what you are saying is basically what the vast majority of people believe and are practicing. So ask yourself a question - why are there so many unhealthy people about? Since meat and animal products are so good for us and most people eat these- how come heart disease, cancer, depression, anxiety, is is at an all time high? Also, how can anything that comes from bloodshed and pain be "good for you"? *confused*

  • @MetalMistress888 Let me ask you a question: why is unhealthyness(lower health than balanced moderate omnivore health) as a vegan/rawvegan/801010er the standard? Diseases are caused by imbalance and immoderation, that's it. So your point is invalid.

Bloodshed in diet is life. I'm *confused* that you aren't accepting that. Life is not 'innocent'.

  • @ToolsnFire "Bloodshed in diet is life." - not in my life. "Life is not 'innocent'." - you can use that to justify anything. Have a nice day.

  • Is it true that all vitamins do not supply the proper chemical form of the vitamins we need such that they do not actually absorb into the body? I've read some pretty compelling evidence that this happens. Any advice on vitamin brands?

  • I take muti vitamins for women, on the back of the label it says it has B12. Is that sufficient?

  • You are so inspiring!!! I am currently 75% raw vegetarian, sometimes eat organic eggs - no dairy, no fish, no meat. I feel great in general, however, I have very poor digestion and I am currently doing a candida cleanse. This extreme measure to cure my candida (i love fruit!) by not eating any sugar both unhealthy and natural types... is hard but its not forever! Anyway, just wanted to say I love your videos!!!

  • I not like injections.I preffer to eat what is need.

  • Solutions:eat raw milk, eat fresh raw eggs and eat raw fish with soya souce and garlic(put fish to deshydrator for 4 hours at 40 centigrade celsius). After this you will not have problems with B12 and D3 for absorbtion calcium. For colesterol excess, eat less butter, eat yoghurt maked home with less fat, make cheese at home from yoghurt with less fat.At eggs, use more white part from egg and less yellow part. This are my advice. You need to have colesterol but not to much, normal weight is the best.

  • @titusignat the yolk of the egg is where the major nutrition is. Let the body prudently direct, not the mind. It's a matter of results and genuine physical feeling(not merely philosophy)

  • The meet eaters have this deficiens because they eat meat coocked. Is so simple. Also they drink alcohol.Another bad choise.

  • God gave us animals to eat, so don't say our friends to make us feel bad!! My body digests meat wonderfully, and I feel fine everyday!!

  • @underpedz818

I eat some kinds of meat still. And I admit and know......God never meant for us to eat animals. We took it upon ourselves, and He allowed it. Just like He allows a lot of the evil we are at fault for. I like big mouthed morons like you, who love to talk about things that they know they know fuckall about (God). Just like most doctors do too. lol...sleep well Mr. know-it-all. Your rude wakeup's coming.

  • You are right. I get harassed about B12 all the time. It is crazy because as a med. assistant I gave a lot of B12 shots to meat eaters in the clinic. It is an absorption issue for sure.

  • at 1:16 you say "..It's (B12) a bacterium found in soil". B12 is not a bacterium at all. Bacteria PRODUCE vitamin B12, which is an organic molecule.

  • eating meat isnt bad and certainly dopesnt lead to b12 deficiancy! heres an advice: take everything in moderation and you will be fine

  • @Freelea What are your sources for the percentages/information you present?

  • why wouldnt you just take the sublingual tablets instead of the shots? both are going right into the blood stream...I am new to this so I am wondering why......

  • It is possible to drive a car without wheels .. The Flintstones :) .. No seriously .. great video .. thank you for all your hard work and all the information! .. Xx

  • Veganism/Vegetarianism rules. Check out my channel.

  • ღ♥¸¸.•*☆❥You are so awesome! I had already decided to go raw vegan for my heath..I have many health problems which I had concluded was caused by my 6.0 pH. I was having some problems staying motivated however, but after watching your videos my enthusiam has increased tremendously...thank you so much! Great job! You've given me the encouragement I need to stay on this path! I know also that I need to get off the pain pills I'm on for bulging disks in my back. Thanks for giving me the motivation!:)

  • This was very educational. Thank you for all the information. You seem very knowledgeable on this topic. I think that's very important when it comes to diet and health. What you said about having to supplement because of the toxic world we live in makes sense. Do you know if a person will do well on a vegan diet if they take supplement pills like the kind you can buy at the store?

  • But cows are soooooo delicious.

  • even if you get supplementation,if you would have mentioned your b 12 level then it would have given more support to your case especially since you are a low fat raw vegan.

keep up the good work. it's saving animals and hopefully a lot of people who might otherwise develop an eating disorder will find you first instead.

  • I love you! Thank you! I had B12 shots 10 years ago. It works, I also suffered from eating dissorders! You can change the world and it started with you.changing first! Awesome:-) I hope to do very much good in this world like you:-)

  • Those inserts require speed reading.

  • lol at conspiracy from a vegan whore, mad at us meat-eaters amirite

  • @MrHumbleness It is possible to get deficient B12 if you eat meat. Look up pernicious anemia, or intrinsic factor deficiency.

The point being nominal numbers of meat eaters who are B12 deficient probably > vegetarians who are deficient, but the RATES for vegetarians being B12 deficient are three orders of magnitude higher than meat eaters (over 1000 times higher).

She is engaging in a dishonest argument, which is what the cult-vegans do.

  • @USSBN734 vegetarians eat milk and eggs so they can still get b12 from animal products.... :/ vegetarians arent likely to have b12 deficiency.

  • @rockwarrior2004 - By what definition are we omnivores? Because we do eat meat? Most domestic cats eat a 94% plant based diet but you would never call them an omnivorous species. All that proves is the adaptability of our (and animal's) bodies. Many cows are fed plastic pellets. But you wouldn't call them plastivores! The scientific truth is that every single physical feature of humans correlates with that of a herbivore. We have features that are unique to herbivores, like side-moving jawbones.

  • I watched till 2:15 saw that you stated Humans are not meant to eat meat (Which is a lie. We are Omnivores, not herbivores. Therefore we can eat both plants and animals. the reason we eat both is because were have evolved to be able to eat both.

  • this girl looks sick and is a stick and unhealthy give her a freaking nice huge fillet of samon or a steak. Vegans like you are smug and have your damn nose in the air . YOU ARE WRONG ....humans have been eating meat forever and have been cooking forever and guess what we are still around and the life expectancy is going up over the long period of time . Enjoy your cancer.

  • @jtrox218 The fact that we can live long enough on cooked diets to reproduce doesn't mean jack @#$ with regards to how natural our diet is. That is only a testament to our bodies' amazing ability to tolerate abuse. The only reason our life expectancies are increasing is because of advances in the healthcare industry. Also, AVERAGE life expectancies were a lot lower thousands of years ago due to high infant mortality rates and a possible higher population of human eating animals.

  • @rpmangin where's your proof ?are you a doctor who has done extensive and reputable research in the scientific community ? raw vegan makes you happy ? i have no problem with that but saying people who cook and eat meat are wrong and unhealthy please. watch the Olympics what percent are raw vegan? hmmmmm

  • @jtrox218 I think you may have misunderstood what I said in my last sentence before. I meant to say, there were more predator animals around to eat humans when life expectancy was lower, not that more humans ate animals back then. Anyway, cooking alters the chemical structures of foods, so maybe cooking makes some foods healthier and maybe it doesn't, but nobody knows for sure. cont.

  • @rpmangin However, one thing IS for sure: no wild animal species eats cooked food, and no wild animal species suffers from disease on the same scale as humans and human companion animals. It is possible that some wild animal species that live too close to human civilization may be subject to certain diseases of civilization, especially if they frequently eat out of landfills.

  • pernicious anemia is not an autoimmune disorder... it is a dietary anemia from lack of b12

  • I hope I meet hot vegans like you :)

  • @DoctorDoubleX enchiladas solve all nutritional problems!... u should try them..!

  • @karioka2 I don't get it.

  • @karioka2 was a joke mate..

  • about coconuts - they do have saturated fat, but it is a different kind of fat than you'll find in animal products. The kind found in coconut is medium-chain saturated fat, that digests quickly and easily, and actually bypasses the liver and goes straight to the bloodstream! mind = blown, lol. also, the lauric acid in coconuts will boost your thyroid function and metabolism, and also help you burn stored body fat! so go eat those yummy coconuts!!!! :D

  • Soooo....what you are basically saying is that there is NO GUARANTEED NATURAL WAY of getting B12?? could it be?!!!

  • I love my sublingual b12 supplement. BIG energy boost!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was b12 deficient while on an animal-based diet. I consumed yoghurt religiously because I was convinced it was healthy for me. I was deficient to the point that the doctor was genuinely surprised I was still functioning...I can't remember the numbers but my levels were less than a 1/4 of those recommended. My doctor was dumbfounded and just told me to eat more meat lol, along with b12 shots of course.

  • I like the video. You're clearly very bright and well spoken. I recommend the text be on screen a little longer (sometimes we just want to sit back and watch without pausing). Thanks I will be watching for more vids

  • raw vegans are SMOKIN HOT!!!! I LOVE that outfit ;D

  • these are scary facts but people need to know

  • @MrAppleandorange123 methyl b-12 vitamins. Way better than eating msg with added b 12, I just add it myself and skip the msg. Stuff actually eats holes in your brain. I worry that it is in health food stores, vegans so often eat it regularly and have no idea they are eating poison as it is promoted for good health! Ouch!

  • @Dehzee methyl b dissolves under your tongue for easier & more complete absorption. What is msg? Mono sodium glutamate. There's too much on msg, you really should google it. It is being put in everything from organic herbal teas to pet food under the moniker natural flavours. It was made illegal 2 add 2 food & not tell you, so they got around that law by putting in foods that have msg as a component. It puts lesions in your brain, kills neurons. It trix your brain into thinking food tastes good.

  • are you taking shots?

  • @MrAppleandorange123 That is what I thought, but I ate some & it made me sick, so I researched it. I suggest you do the same, as it is actually msg. During researching it, I found out that that a major component of that yeast is msg, which is a neuron killer. It is also hidden under labels "natural flavours' which include hydrolyzed yeast, veg protein, soy isolates etc. SCARY! No 'natural flavours 4 me. Watch for it, it is in most pet foods as well. There are pet foods w/o it, check ingredients

  • If your absorption is poor and you lack the intrinsic factor it doesn't matter how nutritional yeast you eat. Solutions like shots that bypass the digestive system and go straight into the blood are vital.

  • it was too much information to me!

I understood I need b12 but I don`t know what it takes to absorb it, I don`t think in Mexico we have those shots :(((

  • @360Darkaro You can order online

  • @Freelea Hi, what about eating nori/ blue-green algae for b12?

  • @Freelea good info i am a meat eater, however i am trying to eat less meat cause i used to have meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. now i am stiking more to veggies, thanks for the info... where is ur accent from?

  • @GabrielcPlummer You're reading too much into it. relax.

  • @Freelea great response, and really like your videos...I'm veggie for 20+ years- mostly vegan- and have been trying to get closer to an ALL raw food diet, it just seems hard to do COMPLETELY but you have inspired this 52 y.o. man to make a commitment!

  • @Freelea Great video, I couldn't agree more. Im not trying to sell anything but on the subject of B12 injections, I do the same but I use a product made by my friend in Australia called Synthelamin found on synthetek*dot*com it contains all the b12 but it is made for slow release so no need for as many injections. Im lucky to still have a good digestive tract so I use it only once a month as well. More for good measure than anything. Keep it up.

  • Please somebody tell me where to get usable Vitamin D3 on a vegan diet? Also, regarding B12, my levels are perfect as with all my other blood tests I just did. If you are wondering, I eat 80 10 10 plus a little wild salmon and raw butter! I love 80 10 10, but when I included these other things, my energy and skin is now just amazing. Freelee, your setting a great example, we need more people like you :) Peace from Queensland :)

  • @waynebw Thanks Wayne :) I get my vitamin D from the sun or you could try Dole portobello mushrooms . You live in QLD so you should have no worries about getting sufficient sunshine :)

  • Most american people are unhealthy because 90% of them eat junk food and do very little sport, not because the eat meat and drink milk from a cow.

  • @mebossyounothing Carrion (rotting flesh) and pus (bovine secretion) are junk food.

  • @mebossyounothing saturated fats are both found in milk & meat(see the oil that is stuck on a pan after cooking and letting it rest for a while? thats what comes into your heart arteries and that's enough of a bad health issue because a bad heart = bad health). Would you naturally eat that gross greyish thick oil on your pan after cooking meat? Think twice now.... saturated fat= junk, meant contains junk (saturated fats) therefore meat is junk. I'm not even talkin about those trans fats.

  • @aenrick You are on the right path, but you are wrong about saturated fats. Don't let your doctors brainwash you with false information that's decades old! If you have a doctor that tells you to never eat coconuts or any other type of nut because they contain saturated fats, it's time to get a new doctor. Saturated fats have healthy benefits just like all other natural types of fat

  • @ASFx2600 Coconut oil is really good for you. You are 100 percent right about saturated fats. The problem is with trans fats and man made fats like margarine and canola oil.

  • BS. People should make a simple research on Internet before posting false statements. If you check the sources of Vitamine B12, you would find that the best source is... Panfried beef liver.

And if you don't want to eat meat, there are a lot of other ways to get this vitamine. Being vegan is not just a matter of health, it's more a way of life and a philosophy.

  • mmmm... yummy. I would rather slit my wrist then eat another animals organ of detoxification. Next.

  • i'm laughing so hard, there is no way anyone wud be able to read all the comments in the blue moments that fast, LOL

  • @aenrick haha yeh I know for next time lol

  • @aenrick just hit the pause button!

  • @RedroomStudios yep!

  • I understand what Freelea is saying to an extent. I get that b12 isn't just a vegan problem, but cutting out dietary intake of b12 will definitely worsen the situation. I don't want to rely on a 'supplement' alone for a vital vitamin. I care about animal welfare, but to be honest, I put my health first. 'Vegan' animals tend to get b12 from incidentally eating insects, slugs, and snails while consuming vegetation. Like you say, we're not in a natural life so it's hard to know what to do.

  • Question for you freelea or any other b12 savy people out there. Are all b12 shots / dissolvable pills created equal? Could you recommend specific things to look for in a b12 shot/ pills. The best place to get b12 from? A doctor, health clinic? Also, any negative side effects we should be aware of?

  • @Xexetrex Raw veganism is not a fad diet. It is an extension of an ancient practice as well as an ancient practice in itself. In an Abrahamic sense, it's a return to the diet of the garden of eden. In an eastern sense, it is sacrificing desire to reach enlightenment. Maybe we're all crazy but I've experienced profound revelations through fasting and the raw food diet. It also clears up my skin and improves my disease, as well as increases my ability to perform athletically.

  • @Xexetrex Nonsense. The Native Americans did what they had to do to survive and they honored the sacrifice of the animal to the best of their ability. The logical extension of that spiritual and moral practice is to cease the slaughtering of animals if at all possible. It is possible. And there are numerous benefits to the clarity of conscious and spirit as well as health. We can even get fat soluble vitamins through raw vegan sources now. You can do it if you're willing to make the sacrifice.

  • @Xexetrex How logical of you to argue pointless semantics. Ever think that the Hindus were referencing conscious life, not life in a scientific sense? Life that is conscious of and experiences suffering? You're scrambling for excuses. You know that if there are alternatives, it's wrong. I'm not judging you, I'm only concerned about my own soul. Yes, soul. Not some anthropomorphic ethical system formulated in a university's philosophy department. I'm concerned about the sanctity of my being.

  • @Xexetrex yeah, you gotta get it right. Soy beans are one of the worse common vegan "foods" think.

  • @Xexetrex yes mcdonalds is rank, i used to work there too as a manager, i did like it however. My ex used to make organic burgers, which were yummy, but now the idea of eating an animal puts me off. I was sort of experimenting before between meat and non meat, and slowly started to notice the benefits I felt not eating it.

  • Thanks for another great video... I love your videos and share them often on Facebook... where can you go to get these specific tests requested for B12 testing? Thank you! xx

  • @Xexetrex last time i ate meat, I had 2 double sausage and egg muffins, from mcds. Really loved the taste, and had a habit of eating them, however this time, after the beta carboline enduced high, I expereinced the worse deathly insane feeling ever, scared the shit out of me, so I never ate meat again.

  • @Xexetrex I got the feeling that you were implying eating fruits, is on the same level of as eating animals, as in the there is pain. I know you said plants, and I can understand that. But I just wanted to say that eating the fruits isn't the same, in-case someone misunderstood it.

  • @Xexetrex saying a banana feels pain, is like saying my sperm feels pain.

  • And...The comparison of consuming plant foods (which again do not have a cerebral cortex, nervous system, lungs, hearts, kidneys, intestines, blood, ears and eyes) to enslaving, torturing & murdering an animal against their will is totally absurd. It's a very poor argument brought up by corpse-munchers who are bone dry of any rational defense for their blood-thirsty penchant.

  • @Xexetrex I can't believe we're talking about this, it should be as obvious as the nose on your face. Of course Vegans are more respecting of nature. Just take a look at the environmental stats. Who do you think is destroying the planet? The fruit & vegie industry? come on.

  • Hello Freelea, does exist a sublingual b12 suplement VEGAN???

  • You're smoking hot, but you need to get your facts straight. While it's true that a lot of people who are B12 deficient are meat eaters, they're also the ones who are eating McDonald's, drinking Pepsi with every meal, and so on. They don't count, because they're not health conscious. Vegans are health conscious. So is someone on a paleo diet. Compare only health conscious people. Vegans will outnumber a meat eater with B12 deficiency 10,000 to 1.

  • I have eaten animals all my life and i still got b12 deficiancy. MY body does not absorb b12 from food.

  • @Xexetrex Plants don't suffer pain when they die because they are designed not to feel pain, they don't have a nervous system or a cerebral cortex. Plants grow, but they would eventually die anyway if we did not pull them from the earth. The animals meat eaters consume eat plants, so they’re still killing more plants. Being a vegan is definitely doing the least harm and this is what it is about for me, not about being perfect.

  • All this doom and gloom. Another veganazi. Hey I think u need some more x. I got some coke if u wanna hang out and relax a bit.

  • @Xexetrex you can eat more than just bananas of course. Google the 80-10-10 Diet by Dr Doug graham and in a few months you won't know yourself you will feel that good.

  • @Xexetrex incorrect because most of it is water.

  • @solargazing69 thanks for noticing

  • @solargazing69 It took you a while. Thanks!

  • You are smokin Hott

  • Freelea, great to see you in a video solo--I mean, I love Durianrider but he dominates the video. No offense, of course.. Thanks for sharing your personal journey. You're a great inspiration to all of us. Loosen up, though, you're too stiff in this video! We want the old Freelea--fun and informative. ; )

  • Great to see Freelea again! I wondered where she'd gone...

  • HOW WAS IT TO TAKE ECSTASY?

  • If almost everyone is deficient in B12, is it possible that the standard is wrong?

  • My only deficientcy is weed :D and god i like steak)

  • i want to know how and why , marijuana is bad , when i vaporize and use it as medicine, someone please help me , HELP

  • @jblandzorz REM Sleep. Look into it. That's all I've got.

  • Nice video.

  • Hey freelea,

I wanted to ask you something about excess skin. DId you experience this after your weightloss? And do you know how long it takes and what you have to do to get rid of it?

+ Do you ever experience bloating or have you ever had bloating?

  • Excellent video in content and in presentation. Very good insights with regard to the use of supplementation. Good Health!

  • LOL Free I didnt know you were on here too, I subscribed. Talk to you later

    BAD ASS VEGAN

  • I'd eat human meat if it tasted good baked or barbecued.

  • @ThePreppyHippie haha I just got it, forgot I called myself FitRaw*Bitch* ;D

  • 14 people don't want to know anything about B12......just want to feel OK about their faulty diet.

But there's much more than 14. It's human nature, sadly.

  • @jumpoffmountaineers Another case of putting down what you know nothing about. Have you read a book about B12, or plant-based diets,..or meat? She HAS.

"beef liver contains 83.1 µg B12/100g" Yes, but for the millions of people who can't absorb it, it don't matter...Wait.... you didn't bother watching the vid right. You just saw the title and were offended right?

PS - your lame (ignorant) comment about diabetes shows you donlt know enough about diabetes, insulin receptors and fat

  • @Gary1111001 typically self-righteous behavior. i say typically because i've met hundreds if not thousands of raw food cultists working on organic farms. humans have no problems extracting b12 from the important dietary sources of this necessary nutrient, from ANIMALS. if you want to take b12 pills and call yourself a raw food superman that's fantastic, but you are living a lie because you can't exist on bananas and wheatgrass and live a healthy life. people keep it up for a time, and quit.

  • @jumpoffmountaineers that was from wikipedia, and shocker, just from watching a few moments of this gal's videos she admits to experiencing all of these symptoms.

  • @jumpoffmountaineers "people keep it up for a time, and quit." - See Dr. Douglas Graham, Fruitarian Anne, and all the herbivores that people eat (supposedly getting their B12 from - yet those people get the deficiency more often. watch the video so you don't make a fool of yourself.

-- "When your right, your righteouuus!!! The raw ones shall inherit the Earth. ;)

  • @Gary1111001 please tell me about these raw humans that roamed the ice age earth eating bananas

  • @jumpoffmountaineers humans will do what they need to do in order to survive in dire and extreme conditions, but that does not make those actions "natural" to our bodies nor does it make it good for us, it's simply a means of survival (even if barely surviving). and just so you know, during the warmer months of the ice age, when some plants did grow, they could store those plants in the permafrost just like a freezer.

  • @jumpoffmountaineers Also read the book B12, An epidemic of misdiagnosis by meat eater Sally Pacholok

  • @Gary1111001 regarding diabetes—"is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the body does not produce enough insulin, or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced. This high blood sugar produces the classical symptoms of polyuria (frequent urination), polydipsia (increased thirst) and polyphagia (increased hunger)."

  • @jumpoffmountaineers I'll respond to this one(your other replies were rhetorical blathering). I stick to facts and science........

"...a person has high blood sugar, either because":

    1. "the body does not produce enough insulin" That's type 1, and not caused by diet.

    2. "or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced" ....because the cells' receptors are being blocked by excess dietary fat.

Either way, carbs (unrefined) do not CAUSE these conditions (says the ADA)

  • @Gary1111001 no, you obviously stick to vegan propagandists. you are right to say that eating a banana does not cause the same insulin response as eating a slice of wonder bread, but excess carbohydrates (of all sorts) raise insulin levels which is the primary cause of insulin resistance, which in turn leads to diabetes. that is both science and fact.

  • @jumpoffmountaineers Incorrect. Or else I would have diabetes and Doug Graham who has been eating this way for 30years would have diabetes. Read "Reversing Diabetes" by Neil Barnard. A quarter lb of beef raises insulin levels just as much, if not more as a quarter pound of straight white sugar.

  • Just so you know, Crohn's Disease is not caused or cured by diet. It is an autoimmune disease found primarily in areas of big industry. They think its genetics and environment. People with Crohn's cannot eat raw when they are sick (bleeding, ulcerous intestines) because the fiber gets stuck and makes them bleed internally. Sadly, there is no cure other than lowering the immune system that mistakenly attacks the person. Crohn's also attacks eyes, skin, bones and gut.

  • @babyisbad0 Actually that's incorrect > Crohn's is cured by diet and lifestyle because literally THOUSANDS of people have done it on a High carb raw vegan lifestyle. I know people personally who have been medically diagnosed & cured. Dave Klein for instance has testimony after testimony from cured clients. Google Dave Klein & Crohns. His program is a medically-endorsed natural dietary cure for crohns.

  • @babyisbad0 - How do you explain the people I know that have cured themselves of Crohn's on a high carb raw vegan lifestyle? Including my boyfriend? For sure some fruits should be avoided early on but we must remember that fruit is the SOFTEST thing on our intestines. You are incorrect about Crohn's not be caused or cured by diet, it is and its important to drop the mainstream BS about it if you want to heal. :)

  • @Freelea Never mind the fact that if you juice, the food is pretty much "predigested" and the nutrients are readily used.

  • @Freelea Anecdotal evidence is simply...not evidence. Your boyfriend overcoming Crohn's does not validate your claim in any way. 100 people wouldn't even validate it.

  • @CivitasUltraAporia Yeh you're right. If you've got Crohn's disease you need your colon cut out.

  • @Freelea I'm being facetious of course.

  • Wow, you are way skinny. How much weight did you gain after you overcame the anorexia and bulimia? I can't keep weight on either. Congrats on your success. I eat eggs and veal for my b12, my levels were checked again and they are in high normal range.
