As a part of my social education he took me to all kind of houses of religion and introduced me to people of all colors to make me see that were all the same. Today my own family is deeply influenced by my father's hopes and dreams for peace.

I want to instill those values in my children when I was growing up my parents used to always say if you believe someone is inferior to you that automatically means you are inferior to them. My father was my hero, not because he was a POW, but because he encouraged me to make friends across borders, religion and cultures as he saw it as a way to prevent wars between nations. As a part of my social education he took me to all kind of houses of religion and introduced me to people of all colors to make me see that were all the same. Today my own family is deeply influenced by my father's hopes and dreams for peace.
