I think at of the two cars the slr is a bit better, because you'd be getting alot more pussy then you would in that jeep, and i i'm sure it wouldn't be any good on a track like the slr no matter how good the suspension is it would just flip over,

Most of you fucking SRT fans are classic wannabe hillbilly butt fuckers who make real hillbillies and other Americans look bad. This "Jeep" is built specifically for one thing, to go fast in a straight line. Not much unlike all those other cheap ass-munch American "muscle" cars. America forgot how to build cars way the fuck back in the 70s, with FEW exceptions (Ford GT, Saleen S7...)
Any ass-backward gook can build a fast V8 shit can now, so stop pretending we're the only ones that can.

@nyp213 My point is that the SLR was built to be an all-around nice ride and luxurious sports car, while the Jeep wasn't built to be a nice vehicle at all, it was built just to go fast. It took Chrysler's best and brightest to come up with an over-used idea: bigger engine means faster. It's about time they start putting some real engineering and thought into their cars again.

@kevinsupra90 If you really think and srt8 jeep is chryslers best and brightest you sir are not even the brightest in the trailer park. chryslers fastest vehicle out bone stock runs a 9.5 in a 1/4 mile and could leave this slr looking like the overpriced glam show that it is but the fact that a car that not only cost an incredible amount less but represents people who are actually about cars built to go fast. Otherwise, explain why the Toyota Supra, with a little 3.4L straight-six, managed to hold the street-legal standing mile record for so long, while there are plenty of big-blocks rolling around here in the states. It wasn't until March 2010 that a Ford GT with 600 more wheel horsepower and twin turbos managed to beat it by fractions of a MPH.

Oh, and there are also promods. they run a 5-6 second 1/4 and are street legal. actually have to pass a street driving test of 30-45 minutes without having any hickups, working headlights, door slammers, able to be licensed

@hillbillyrt You know as well as I do that those 500ci V8s are using forced induction, nitrous, and god-knows-whatelse to create that kind of power... Without forced induction, it would take what, like 4000+ci to make that power? So forced induction is a replacement for displacement. As far as four and six-cylinders running sub-5 1/4 miles, I've never heard of one... but now we're talking about forced induction complimenting huge displacement, not making up for lack of it.

and what´s the price of the SLR ? oh yeah - 650.000+€
those SRT8 Jeeps are just around 30.000€
