I can't tell you how happy I am that Iron maiden carried on after Bruce left.

I am so much more happy that Bruce and Adrian came back. Thank you Blayze for your efforts, and best of luck to you. I think Blayze is a great singer, but I truly feel that Bruce is the only voice that can properly fill the role in Iron Maiden. Listening back on the Blayze songs reinforces that opinion for me. I know he tried, gave it his all, and I appreciate that. Nobody else could have done better, either.

And there's nothing wrong with the lyrics of 'Hard as a Rock', though I'll freely admit they aren't deep or profound or even particularly clever. But a song is more than the sum of its parts, a song doesn't need strong lyrics to be good. It helps, but it's not essential.

thats like saying korn and disturbed are metal bands, theyre hardrock. blaze's voice doesnt have that metal sound so it makes it sound more rockish, notice also how the guitars in x factor virtual XI arent as distorted as all the other albums. it has that vintage distortion playing metal, giving it a rock sound.
