what a perfect articulation of the way I feel about the state of music here in the"states"...these days youth is wasted on the young...I miss the days when the youth was just wasted.

@carombw77 Well, I think if "the kids" were more exposed to it they would be. I read an article from some random newspaper site where the columnist speculated that "rock is dead" based on Billboard charts. Bitch, please. There are plenty of kids that want to rock, I think, but the music biz has changed so much & the internet has diluted the talent waters that instead of getting behind a few big bands, they're supporting a multitude. Billboard has no way to chart this, so phooey.

@thespookywolffe hence the overwhelming popularity of classic rock radio...moreso than ever...I went thru a phase a few years back when I had lost all hope for rock music but after many nights spending hours looking here & there on the internet, I was more than happy to find sooo much great new rock music...the avenues of discovery are now well lit...you just have to know what turns to make.
