I think it was the Santa because he did say he'd pay a secret visit. When he went to get her he could have woken her and told her to not scream . She thinking it was Santa went along with it. Only when he was in the basement with her and started to ...you know was when she finally screamed. It explains why the neighbors heard it and not the parents.

The Ransom note was on the bottom of those stairs. She read the first few lines of the note to the point where it said "We have your Daughter" and screamed as she headed right back up the spiral stairs and pushed open Jonbenet's bedroom door. John heard her scream and ran down to the 2nd Floor where he met Patsy.

The family says they thought this was a kidnapping due to the Ransom note. John Ramsey did say he went throughout the house including the basement to check to see if there was any way an intruder could have gotten in. Would John have checked the cellar room knowing that there is no way anybody coukld have gotten in that way?

This is why the police didn't check this room because they thought it was jammed due to the wooden latch. This tells us that if it was an intruder he/she more than likely knew the layout of the house. Whether he/she was someone who knew the family and the house already, or someone who snuck in while the Ramsey's were gone and possibly studied it for hours.

There was one layer of carpet between the children's floor and the Ramsey's bedroom upstairs. The killer would have taken JB out of her bed down the stairs to the first floor, then down a smaller flight of stairs down into the basement. (continued.......)

That recreation was on the show haunting evidence. That shows what could have happened. They don't know for sure. There was a bowl of pinneapple out on the kitchen counter. The bowl had Patsy and Burke's fingerprints on it but not JB's. The autopsy report states there was fragments of pinneapple in JB's stomach.

That was a theory put forth on the T.V. show Haunting Evidence. However I am skeptical of their theories. We do not know how JonBenet consumed the pineapple or exactly when she consumed it. Omg! This makes me mad how people noticed strange movements and heard her scream but no one calls the police?! Thats messed up! I read about Forensic Molecular Photofitting DNA. Its really cool thing and it would basicly draw the killer's face. I hope the DA consideres using this to solve JonBenet's case

Det. Lou Smit, who favors the intruder theory, makes the argument that

JonBenet's scream could have traveled much more easier through the boiler room's duct to the outside of the house, then 4 carpeted floors up to JonBenet's parents room which was also on the opposite side of the house from the boiler room/basement. Also Stanton's window was partly open.

Yes I did.

I have always thought that was a possibility in this case.

But, the unkown male DNA found in three different places on JB's body is very compelling. The DNA does not belong to anyone tested so far.

So I am leaning more toward an intruder theory, but I still have suspicions regarding JB's family and friends.

@ddlbugsmommy I slept over at my friends house and she screamed real loud because she saw a mouse and I didnt hear her. I'm a heavy sleeper..So maybe they are too?

The lady that heard the scream states she thought about calling the police but didn't.

She states she thought surely the parents heard the scream and would come to their daughter's rescue.

I wished she would have called the police.
