When I used to go to the LDS church, this video was shown in our Young Women's class. I loved it so much and was in tears. I miss the LDS church. But I came to the conclusion that I didn't agree with what Joseph Smith had done and how he translated the Book of Mormon, and I didn't agree with some of the doctrine (eternal progression, endowment ceremony, etc). I miss it so much, I always felt at home there and haven't felt the same since. I still love this video and the hymns from the church.

If those are the things which bother you the most, know that there are so very many people, including myself who have a testimony of those things. In defending ourselves and our religions we often forget that the whole purpose of "following Christ" is to become like Him, and He accepts and loves even those who don't believe. Knowing Christ has caused me to be a better person; however, I know people far better than me who don't believe in Him at all. When we become condescending we defeat our own purpose. This video brings a beautiful spirit of peace and happiness - let's not destroy it with arguments about personal belief.

@annewallin I am Mormon and I personally believe that he would look more Middle Eastern,or, to be more precise, more Jewish; but then again, when I read that Jesus is The Only Begotton Son of the Father in the flesh and looks exactly like the Father or is His express Image (which makes deciphering his looks more difficult), I am more inclined to think that his ethnic or culture-color/traits is not as important as knowing He is the Christ and the Resurrected Son.

They didn't really take history or someone who they wanted to kill since his birth in israel and middle eastern countries like that, there was so many records but the book of mormon and bible were the only ones who believed in not harming christ, the ones who wrote in it were the latter day prophets of that time, so we do, the book of mormon :)

Book of mormon was written before, during, and after jesus walked the earth, it's not quite the newest thing around ;) it was only translated from hebrew to english in the 1800's but you're free to believe what you wish :)

The lord doesn't reveal himself to the world, we've come to the world for a test, not to follow what others tell us to do. You should try saying a prayer, you have the choice to do it, or not. Or try reading the book of mormon, like a verse or true. Wow. I saw the exhibit here in Edmonton Alberta. Its amazing. I absolutely loved it. The Spirit hit me so strong. The photography has such a way of displaying the emotions played by the saints of old. The looks on Christs face in some of them really depict how he felt. Like his agony in Gesthemane when he atoned for the sins of the world in such a selfless act. And the joy on his face after he rose from the waters of baptism as the rest of us have. Its amazing. On the money issue... This slideshow is free. Use it up. Also, we have three exhibits moving about North America for free. Go and see them. This project began as a service project and in most regards still is... I've had thousands of requests for prints, books, speaking engagements, and various usages of the photography...

For those who love the Savior, this slideshow is a modern portrait of the same spirit that inspired other artists to paint, write, compose, material about Christ. It brings the best there is in us, it makes us feel so much love and appreciation for the life and sacrifice of Him who did not have to, and yet, died for us, I can´t thank enough for those artists who put into images, words, melodies what we feel inside.

I just went to a fireside and heard Brother Freddy Ashby sing "Amazing Grace" and heard Brother Mark Marbry bear testimony and tell of how he came to create this amazing inspired work. The spirit in that room was so strong and just hearing the singing and seeing the pictures as I type this brings back that same spirit. This was such a powerful spiritual experience.
