Perky works great as a base for that pink. I had decided not to pick up any of the eye pencils. I hadn't heard much feedback on the new formula. It seems like everyone is liking them. Hhhmm, guess I need to make another trip, shucks darn, LOL.

i kind of disagree with you, i think the alpha girl looks really nice on you!!! (im NC43) and i purchased one and love it!

i wasnt thrilled with trio 2 because the colors are so easy to dupe and for trio 1 cloudburst was already previously available. i was just really expecting the e/s's to be more pigmented and "out of this world/to die for". i was, for the most part interested in the lipsticks and lipglasses. fleshpot <3. the packaging is insane though. much better than fafi.

I think I'll buy the trio no.1 as soon as the heatherette collection comes out in Germany. The colors are gorgeous.

They're not patent leather. Richie Rich said he wanted MAC to make them in patent leather, but they were unable to do that. They were specially treated in order to give it that shiny patent leather effect.
