Paul really took the liberty to change about 95% of the lyrics here.

I like maiden all the way to 7th Son, after that, I stopped, I spent a small fortune from 1980 to1988 on front row tickets, books, posters, imports, jerseys etc, back then it was harder to get their stuff hence more expensive.

I tried coming back to them with "The X Factor", couldn't do it.

To this day I play all the old stuff only.

With Smith gone it was so weird.

Bailey & Gers nailed the coffin shut.

The Killers album had a real impact on me. Everything about it was dangerous and agressive. I remember walking around in the Killers shirt back in the early 80's and feeling real badass. When Paul quit, Maiden lost all of that and became a kind of a prankster band.. And when Clive left it was over for me. I remember seeing a poster with Nicko with a pie in his face soon after he joined. How metal is that? Still love the old Maiden though.

This di'anno guy looks exactly like the singer from Axel Rudi Pell. Except, of course, the difference in eras. One is from the 70's and the other is from the 20th century.

Too bad that di'anno left Iron Maiden, but I guess that they(Iron Maiden) wouldn't have had that much success with the voice's tempo and rhythm that he(di'anno) used on all songs. I guess that Bruce has his merits after all.

@MrNeosantana thats not the solo. He is still hitting the same at those points just like when he does that harmonic slide he does nowadays. He just hits the true note. I think the harmonic slide he does now is what most people are used to because not all Maiden fans listened to them back then. I like the harmonic slide too. It fits the song, just like I think this song sounds better with Paul's voice
