i know what you mean i once had an oppertunity to observe a colo-rectial surgical procedure. You sort of get used to the smell after a while. My friend who is a nurse once told my she has assisted with 103 colo-rectal sugerys just passing the instriments to the surgens. She said shes virtually imune to the smell

First, I am a nurse. Second, have you heard of the Relay for Life? It was started 20+ years ago by a Surgeon in Tacoma, WA called Dr. Gordy Klatt. Now, this dude (having met and worked with him) has an awesome sense of humor! He's a great guy, and I, along with two other co-workers, have had my colonoscopy done by him. Who better than someone who's been up there for 20+ years. Just to put things into perspective, he's raised Millions for cancer research. He's alright in my book. Cheers!
