Only during the 80's when the NF and other right wing movements started to recruit young skinheads, who we call 'boneheads' did the skinhead culture become 'racist' and 'right wing' Toots is very popular with non racist and traditional skinheads.

Been a fan of Toots since I first heard him in the early 80s (Pressure Drop, still my favourite track) and the Maytals are the perfect back up band for him.
