yeah, hollywood is still very white supremacist. hollywood is one of the places where you can still be openly discriminated against based on race, it ain't really about merit. I don't think I could deal with that one a daily basis...
Its a tough business. Alot of people think that its all glitz , glamour , and fun. Its not. Like Neil Young said. "..theres more to the picture than meets the eye.."
This was smart. When is the next? This kept it real for girls like my baby. She acted here in C Town at Karamu House. Everyone said she was great and wishes she would to do more, but it's a long way from Hollywood. Hence, she is at Kent State first. Don't be too hard on you, always hold yourself high and let others climb up. There are a lot of auditions you DID get. You shine when you are destined to shine. We can't always control that. You'll always shine in my book. Good work.

Kym, thanks for sharing this. I am a aspiring actor and I love to see things like this cuz it shows that everybody hustles in hollywood. Hopefully I get to be there and do my thing.
