  • This is amazing! The angles and shots were nicely filmed. Great Work! :)

  • @NintendoPlatform07 thanks lad:)

  • i really think the angles and scenery is what gives this video a 5/5! =)

  • Nice Video!

  • What a fantastic video this will have to be featured on my channel ;)

  • @diesalfan50 Thanks lad, I'll return the favour with your next vid :)

  • @TheBlueE2 Ta muchly :)

  • Wow, every time you make a new video, the sets look better and better! Keep up the good work man!

  • Why this is rather wonderful, isn't it? Particularly liked 0:31 and George grumbling at the gates. It's just like an ordinary journey for Donald, and something not really done that often.

If I helped inspire this beautiful video, then I'm proud as stink :P Also, CREWS!

  • @tardisrescue The whole 'normal day' sort of thing was the biggest inspiration I guess :)

Yea that's a real plus for the scots, being able to fit a crew into them :P

  • That was an awesome video the set's where amazing and Donald and Douglas are really good models.

  • this is very well done keep up the good work and i think that you shoud put your videos on to dvd

  • See if it wasn't for the folds in the sky, I'd be convinced that this was real.:P

    Well done.:D

  • @Evsta101 Oh bugger I forgot to crop a few other scenes then :s

    Cheers :)

  • This all looks fantatstic, Great job!!! Hope you dont mind me asking, but how big are your sets usually?

  • @TTTEandbigG Hard to say :P Can't remember the measurements of my board, but it's about the same length as Gordon and 4 express coaches(width-wise, duno the other bit).

When I use the big empty space in my room for sets(like the 3rd shot) the sets are way bigger tho :P

  • Really impressive job with the locations in this video. Best of luck with your next video.

  • Nicely done!

  • Great to see Donald, and great work on the camera angles, mate. :-)

  • Awesome work as usual mate, great angles and shots used in this video :)

  • awsome video, ya planning on getting a bachmann diesel?

  • @trainboy7 Nope, the face is really off-putting :L

Happy enough with D&D anyways :)

  • @TheBlueE2 thats good ^_^

  • @TheBlueE2 cool

  • Amazing work Laddie! The angles look wonderful and your videos are improving well! Almost like it is the classical series again.

  • Ooch tis woonderful.

One question, might save me some searching( or the redubing of a certain well tank), where do you get your steam effects?

  • @theirishthomas Most come from Sounddogs, nd a few came off some railway dvds I have :)

  • Amazing :) Temporary set up or not you put a lot of time and effort into quality scenery in your layouts; beautiful camera angles too; you keep getting better and better at this! :D

  • That almost looks like how the classic series was, only in a more epic fashion! Very good shots man! :)

  • Damn... Thats all I can say... Your videos get better everytime I see them, lets hope to see a permanent layout from you... the eye candy, oh my... 8[

  • hey im from ireland and i am wondering where did you get your bachmann models

  • @Groovimuseprime Ebay, its the only way to get them.

  • What a fantastic little film. I love the little details that you've took the time to do such as correctly placed lamps and Gerorge grumbling at the level crossing. FAv'd!!! :D

  • There should be more vids like these on YouTube. So simple, yet elegant!

  • Bloody hell those opening shots were incredible! I'm guessing the first shot was the one you were describing in a P.M a while ago? But still - incredible!

  • Wow. You got some really cool shots and angles. Well done.

  • @missoliverandblossom Cheers mate.

Have you gotten the twins yourself btw?

  • @TheBlueE2 Yes I have.

  • Damn- 1:10 someone beat me to it!

Some BEAUTIFUL shots and angles in there- and some brilliant sets made- I am more than impressed... and jealous actually...

    Well done mate!

  • @therailwayinspector3 Isn't worth trying though, since it looks more like a broken bridge than the camera sitting between the rails :P

Thanks mate, well we all have our ups and downs I suppose, I still applaud your work put into making a, er more than 1 feature length for eg :)

  • @TheBlueE2 Most of which have been pure tripe really.... Or so I think...

But, here's hoping I can improve that all soon...

  • I say, the twins look much better with their front couplings removed. The majority of the Bachmann models do. :P Great video, I loved that shot at 1:07.

  • @TheUnluckyTug02 All the models do I think :) Hate the likes of Percy for having the couplings un-removable :P

  • @TheBlueE2 Well, I know that the Bachmann Thomas, James and Percy do not have front couplings. I can't say for Hornby, since I don't have any of them. :P

  • That was AMAZING! I love the long shot at 0:35

Wonderful work here well done :)

  • @Thomasfan8Extras tanks lad :)

  • i really do like the under the rails shot, its funny, at first to me it looked like a bridge XD

  • @MITCHELLtheC17 I tried like mad to take away that bridge look, but of course that was the result :P To make it worse the power didnt go through so I dragged the train across with the funnel :P
