Try using a mp4 clip, thats what he is using. I use cs3 extended like he has and the mp4 clip was the only format that would open. Maybe it will work in cs3 also.

I found it :)

You flip the image twice 180degrees! I don't understand yet why so but it works this way!

you go to IMAGE

then ROTATE CANVAS (180")

then the canvas gets converted & fliped

you rotate back (same method)

& voila now apply whatever filter you want & it will go on all video ;)!

I found it on my own with no help & just by coincidence :( :( but hey at least it's eureka :D I hope this helped you out ;)

The adjustment layers are cool but the frame by frame editing stinks. I don't know why you can't just select the whole clip and add a filter to it. The video editing seems to be only good for masking and color tint.

Well, what I do is just right click the file, then I go to Open With. Then I go down to the bottom where it says, "Use Default Program" and select quicktime. When you click ok, you'll see that the file is a quicktime file. Now you can open it with photoshop.

Your video is probably AVI format. Same thing happened to me. Convert it to an .MOV file and it should work. Google .MOV converter.

this tutorial itself might not have been very informative, but at the very least you pointed out something I didn't realised could be done. I editing a vid once with photoshop to add a light saber effect. but it had to be first converted to a filmstrip file and the frames were all layed out like comic book. this new process should be much less tedious to work with so I'm glad I stumbled across the video.
