  • not sure why so many people disliked this video....

  • @kalef1234 It's one particular troll combined with one or 2 others. I'm not the only one to get targeted with it :/

  • hi, i install the driver and i do have CCC but i dun have the part of Overdrive...

i am very confused lol how can i get the overdrive for my NOTEBOOK?

    Graphic Card: ATI6570m

    NoteBOOK model: Lenovo Y560p

  • @MelTekkenVideo Unfortunately the Mobility series of cards are unable to be overclocked, mostly due to temperature and the fact that the GPU is actually stuck to the motherboard.

  • @lindsaymobil22 I have a HD 4000 series 1 GB..I cant find the overdrive, do I have one?

  • @KakashiKyle9 If the machine is a laptop, it is very common for overdrive not to be found in CCC.

  • @lindsaymobil22 Yes, my machine is a laptop.So I guess I don't have the option?

  • @KakashiKyle9 Not within CCC anyway, besides I would definitely advise against overclocking a laptop GPU, as cooling is a big issue in laptops.

  • @lindsaymobil22 Okay, thanks for the warning.

  • Good tutorial, thanks!

  • @KNIGHTxPILOT nope

  • 2:35 Auto Tune makes me sound like T-Pain :D :D

  • @KNIGHTxPILOT There is a way of doing it, but I've forgotten how to, since I have no need of locking it again, sorry :)

  • I don't have options for my fan speed }= halp?

  • @1966pikupstix Are you perhaps using a card with an actual metal heatsink and not a fan?

  • @lindsaymobil22 no, its a radeon hd 4670. I can actually see the fan from the window on my case. Its no problem though, its staying cool enough when I overclock.

  • @1966pikupstix What version of CCC are you using?

  • @lindsaymobil22 The one that came with my radeon hd 4670.

  • @1966pikupstix Try downloading the latest version of the CCC suite for your card (Includes the drivers)

  • @lindsaymobil22 okay, thanks a lot.

  • cool desktop backgroud were did u get it... and what really is it... is it a game????

    nice vid!!!

  • @yoman299 Its a wallpaper from the game "Mirrors Edge", look on Google Images for it, you should see it, its one of the first results

  • Are you a girl?

  • i dont have ati overdrive in catalyst control centry :( can you help me with it?

  • @bestfighteriam1 Some versions of CCC for certain cards does not come with Overdrive, sorry :/

  • @lindsaymobil22 okay thanks i subed (ty for the answer)

  • where I can download ATI Overdrive

  • @nedimhalilovic1 ATi Overdrive is included in the CCM (Catalyst Control Centre)

  • @lindsaymobil22 I have ATI Radeon x1650 and there isnt that option

  • @nedimhalilovic1 Some cards do not have the option to overclock as it is not supported by that card. I wouldnt recommend overclocking a 1650 anyway :)

  • By the way i have a pc !!!

  • i have ati radeon hd 3450 and i want to overclock and i want

to get 1gb from 512 mb !!!! So what do i put in gpu clock

    and memory clock ??

  • LOL that screen showed up and i shutdown my computer lol fuck me

  • Weird, why is my CPU clock less then before even though i put it on max? i tested etc and it passed.

  • @LightingPeace You might not have applied the clocks, click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window to save them. BTW you mean GPU, not CPU :P

  • how to set it on factory settings again

  • @krullenvriend Did you remember/write down the frequencies? If you did, then just move the sliders back to where they were, if you didn't, that was kinda silly, but, you could google your Video card Model and see if you can get the stock frequencies for it :)

  • hey i have amd m880g ati radeon 4250 and amt turion 64 bit and i wanna overclock

    will this work?

  • @chazsmi So is your system a laptop or a desktop? If it is a laptop, then no you cant overclock, if it is a desktop then sure, just be careful, i cant be held responsible for damages or crashes. Dont expect to get much more performance out of that 4250, more than likely you will just rise the temperature a little bit, CPU is probably bottlenecking you for performance.

  • ok, what if I overclock my ati 5770 that was included in my computer when i bought it. Would it void my computer's warranty?? plz reply

  • @lilgangster032032 Ok, first, Is the card in a PCI slot or integrated into the motherboard? (Not removable) Second, Overclocking will void the manufacturers warranty because it put extra stress on the hardware meaning it wears out slightly quicker, so the company cant be help responsible if it breaks from your own doing.

    Happy Holidays

  • very nice video!

quick question, how do u calculate the amount of GHz you are getting?

also when click auto tune, and the screen flickers blue - is that bad?

    cheers for the tutorial!

    thumbs up

  • @XxSavgeBeastxX Thanks! In the Control centre overdrive page, it should say current clocks, and that will tell you what MHz the card is running at when you are doing what you are doing. Im not so sure about the screen flickering blue, Make sure you monitor your temperatures to make sure your card is not overheating, which may cause some wierd effects. As i mentioned, its best to manually overclock and test the frequencies, autotune is not always successful.

  • @lindsaymobil22 yes, i manually did it and i can max it out and the test says its stable, is that right? (the drag bar is right at the end)

also i ment GHz not MHz - different things =p

cheers for the fast reply =D

  • @XxSavgeBeastxX Yes, if it is reporting those frequencies are stable, well...they are stable! Just make sure your temperatures are ok. Does your card go above 1024MHz? Then i think that is classed as a GHz No problem, im on youtube all the time anyway so fast replies most of the time xP

  • @lindsaymobil22 haha awesome - i love getting fast replys!

and good to hear they are stable >=D

lol a little bit of showing off inanswer to ur question xD

yes my card does go over 1024MHz, i got the ATi radeon HD 5870 =p

and the right internals to overclock it to 4.2GHz =p although i think going into the bios may be only only way to get it that high

    awesome video again!

  • @XxSavgeBeastxX No problem :) Lucky, my specs are on my channel, its not a fantastic PC, but will be upgraded at christmas, for when cod black ops and things like that come out. Thanks! Its nice to get some positive feedback, just gives me motivation to continue with these tech tips :)

  • @lindsaymobil22 haah nice upgrading ^^

yeah CoD black ops looks good, tho ill proberly get it on console although i do have MOH on pc atm =D

and u should keep doing them =D

if u have xfire feel free to add me ^^ - message me back if u do (no gunna post my user for the world to see) and no probs if u dont wana xD

    cheers again

  • Very nice one, mate. Love your accent ;)

  • @UbuntuHelpGuy lol thanks helpguy :)
