By the way, it really is dumb to continuously spend money you don't have to fix a recession. Some economists will argue you can save some public sector employment by doing just that, but you won't pull yourself out of the recession. Government never causes any economic growth, so such action just prolongs the recession.

Why did Labor go crazy when Cameron said "Europe"? Was that the day's special word or something?

I'm guessing there's some inside notion there that I'm missing. I'm not in the UK so I don't know lol.

I'm wondering that myself. I believe it was Cameron stating the issue wasn't the recession but then admitting there was a recession all over Europe.

you dont wont to spend more and more on public spending if the countrys economy is falling... thats just plain stupid... its a good thing to cut public spending to get rid of wastefull spending that we dont need! and then the countrys econmy can break even so it is prepared for the economy to recover over time!... Conservative to win next election!!!
