hes not only putting his head down hes straffing also. it makes it so that there is only one very small spot for the opponent to get the final headshot off and if the opponent is mid to far range away its almost impossible to finish them unless you hit them with seven shots.

Crouch repeatedly as you go up the lift, as long as you're not host it will severely shorten the height of you jump. If you crouch too much, though, you won't leave the lift, so it takes some getting used to.
