  • Nice. I liked it. Specially the girl xD

  • this doesnt look look film, it looks like home DV.

to get the look of film you have to shoot with film, and thats just the bottom line.

  • @Bluestarcinema Yeah no shit asshole, but we all don't have a few grand to spend on film, processing, etc. There are many "real" movies shot digital and many people make a pleasing look on dv and hdv. If you don't like it then watch something else and go eat ten dicks.

  • @Bluestarcinema are u serious? lol this is 100% purely wrong. U need good color correcters....24p....

  • @pacmanlegend no You are wrong.

Digital doesn't include film grain, film texture, regulation movement, dust, unique color pallet, and 14 stops of exposure lattitude.

and most importantly 18 mega pixels worth of resolution per frame (35mm) and 110 mega pixels per frame (70mm IMAX)

make sure you know what your talking about before you talk out of your ass.

  • @Bluestarcinema dude...crank 2 was shot on a digital camera....who knows wtf ur talking about. U thinking to much into what a film should look like. some people see things like this as perfect. if u like film so damn much u fuckin prick why are u looking at videos like this for....now think about that!

  • @pacmanlegend crank 2 is a joke, crank 2 has nothing on the dark knight and inception (both shot in 65mm)

    nice QQ faggot.

  • @Bluestarcinema ok that's fine lol. but the point is ....most people cant tell the difference.... cameras like these are good enough for what people are trying to do. just because u have a sick gay fetish for some 20 thousand dollar camera don't try to ruin it for other people. by the way...crank was actually shot on the cheap less than 1000 dollar cameras lol. later fag boy

  • @pacmanlegend every one in the professional cinema world can tell the difference. the only people that can't tell the difference are cock knockers like yourself who think cinema camera's are worth $20,000.

    try $250,000.

now go watch your faggot crank movie and jerk off to the niggers.

  • @Bluestarcinema 21 megapixel u mean lol.

  • N/M got the song: Chris Botti - ever since we met

  • Looks good, but I'm really more interested in the song, pls ty.

  • Nice but the film look is mostly what you put in front of the camera, not what you do in post, nor even the camera. The indoor scenes need better lighting. The difference between film and digital is that there is a better sense of 3Dness. That is achieved not only with DOF (35mm lenses) but also with good lighting. Good Work anyways!

  • Stop hating he did a good job!

  • He is trying to give advice. Its not hating unless they have something to add. I agree. More light is necessary. Its a step in the right direction. Good work.

  • What is The Camera ?

  • whtats the song?

  • I'm enjoying your progression. I am an infant in this and I'm seeing the achievements are endless. I am conducting lighting tests right now. I will be glad when I'm @ this stage.

  • Amazing like real movies what camera is this ?! does a Sony HD handcam give the same ?? O.o ? huh O.o ?

  • good but use a steadier cam

  • What effects work best to achieve this look in Vegas?

  • Comment removed

  • doesnt look good! i liked more 1st and 2nd attempt

  • You're basically perfect. You just need the camera movements to be even smoother and steadier.

  • The point is environment , you can't just film on dark room and put then nice color correction this will be s***.

  • That looks fantastic.

  • ITS not just lighting ....If you want this effect ....they use this in real movie films...its called Colour correction

You can use colour correction in final cut pro/express .etc. or sony vegas and adobe after affects ..

  • lighting lighting lighting...

  • we could probably work together, minus the pretentious tone you seem to speak with; if it's not so, my mistake. "Do you JUST do" means exactly That! I didn't see any other videos from you except Claymation, hence I asked did you JUST do that; don't YOU get offended by it. *smiley face* and if you had/have more, I failed to see because I Am busy looking at dp reels, shopping around for a camera and polishing one of my scripts.

    Salut.

  • do you just do claymation?

  • I agree with you 100%.

I'm a writer, I write all genres, styles, did some journalism before. But I also direct and coach acting. Gotta have the film, story, acting etc down before all the glitter, BUT, the right look does go hand in hand.

  • This looks great!

  • Bravo, Anthony! This video clip is superb!

  • muy buen video, saludos de argentina..

  • good job, keep going

  • Looks good, but you can't shoot every scene with just a 50mm lens.Different lenses will add much more production values to your work.I liked it.

  • Very nice. A little more stabilization might have made this really great, but as is, it's pretty golden.

  • the set design is very elegant and homey not to mention had a great depth of field look to it im curious was that the lens or the zoom

  • It looks good because, of the content and the music for the most part this was shot with 24 p and cine look features giving it that motion blur.

there was no over exposure except for the plane windows.

naturally lit and with a romantic feeling to it all the shaky makes it feel a little close to home as does its characters they look into the lens allot. reminds me of a death cab video "i will posses your heart"

  • What did you use? A special adapter? What video camera did you use? What settings? What settings on vegas did you use?

  • why does this camcorder actually look good when it is shaky and DV-cam look like shit?

And why does this video don't show any de-interlacing artifacts?

    mmmmm

  • looks really good..

  • coz its progressive

  • very gooD!

  • hey great job!
