The car's far from production for a reason, dipshit.
As you claim, 'GM has more corporate jets in its fleet than functional Volt vehicles.' What exactly is your point? Can you even provide a solid proof of your claim?
Should have added this earlier: I thought the 1.4L engine was for generating electricity, not propulsion. Can you provide solid proof of this claim as well?
There are no savings with the Volt. The price is estimated at $40K to $48K. Automobile critics have dubbed it "Grandma's electric vehicle." The production Volt is hideous and bland. Nissan has already developed an electric car that gets TWICE the mileage as the Volt.
To bag GM, Ford and Chrysler are such bleeding heart welfare cases and thinks all Americans owe them a living. Oh well, they say what goes around comes around, it seems so in their case. The next thing you know, they will be trying to get Congress to pass a law requiring us all to buy their cars :-)
Wow, a 40 thousand dollar economy car

In my honest opinion, I like the idea.. but the car itself looks like a Toyota Prius and a Honda Civic mixed together..

notice on youtube theres always no audio when they show a running volt ?
because its not running on electricity it runs on its 1.4 liter onboard gasoline engine.
