While I admit that RoboCop 3 isn't as bad as people make it out to be, I admit that scenes like this definitely shows that the series was taking a downfall. In the first two you had Robo fighting crime lords and drug dealers now a ninja robot? Seriously? I think the weakest parts of RC3 is the robot ninja, lessening of the violence and language, and in ways the jet pack. Its like they're trying to put him up there with Batman and Superman. He doesn't belong there. RoboCop is his own character.

Gun: weaker than sword,But can do easy kills from long distances with the right aim to the heart or head.

Sword: More powerful than the gun but requires close range fighting so when you reach your opponent by the time your about to slash he headshoots you or shoots you in the heart.

One thing is to partly blame the director, but you also have to blame the actor. The guy didn't do any research on the previous films, didn't care to. The actor also didn't seem to appriciate the movies fanbase enough to even seem midly motivated to act out the role in an interesting manner. It's jsut generic robot movement here... and there... and slow turns... and slow staring... even noding was slow robotic dribble. His scenes look better only if you play the movie at double the frame rate.

@Darthsantana A Ninjas sword is called a ninjato not a katana. katanas were used by the samurai. the ninjatos were slightly shorter than a katana so that when the two drew swords the ninja would get his out before the samurai could pull his.
