  • Hi, The cuttings are doing pretty well overall. I have just planted abpuyt 15 bamboo cuttings to make a forest out of when the root, if they root. I willbe doing a video of the cuttings and their relplantings soon.

  • Hi,

can you please tell me if grafting is successful for banyan bonsai. My uncle gave me his 10yo banyan bonsai , which has not been pruned from past 3 yeras. It looks ugly. is it safe for me to try grafting on it.?

  • how are the cuttings doing?

  • They are my trees, and I'll do what I like with them. Please put your bonsai on You Tube so we can see them and how you do things. O just looked at your list of 13 videps and not one of them appears to have anything to do with bonsai.

  • true to that cameosam =)

all ur trees are toooo highh...

  • your canopy is not dense enough, chop back hard and start again, you'll get it much more dense and it will be more in proportion. its a bit too high for my liking.

  • This tree is just starting. Take a look at it in a couple of months.

  • On most deciduous trees, I believe (that is my disclaimer) it seems if you do a complete leaf pruning in the spring, the leaves will grow back, and of course because they are all baby leaves, the trick is to then cut off any of these leaves that reach a size that you determine is too large. Then over time your plant should miniturize it's leaf size. I am currently doing this on a ming, a sea grape, my new banyan, and some others. I will soon be showing the early results in a video. Jerry

  • 1 question i might have asked before but forgot which video... if you leave trim a decidous tree in the spring will it grow smaller leaves?

  • i heard if you take 1 part moss, 1 part yougurt, and 1 part water and you blend it in a blender and spray if on a surface or soil ect.. it promotes the growth

  • I have never heard or this. Moss is a plant. Yogurt is a plant, and water. Probably can't hurt, and the spbagnum moss if ground down becomes peat moss whish is great for trees. Has anyone else heard of this before? Thanks! Jerry
