The sad part is that these women were innocent. The missing gold ornament was found from the house of the woman who made the initial complaint.
The state Human rights commission got involved. The great heroes who stripped these women were arrested, and asked to pay a hefty fine. The fine was later given to the women insulted. Kerala police also had to run around a bit to find these poor women who had left the town.

you are absolutely right... lack of education... then we pride ourselves with so called "most educated state in India"... that is just non-sense to me these days... we have a long way to go in educating people... otherwise they will again show off their "culture" on streets, just like in this video...
