She is a real nice singer. I like the Philly sound in her music(TSOP). Unfortunatly, this album has a crummy Hip Hop beat. Slap Slap slap Slap.Over and over. The hip hop beat is fine played right, like by Chic. Or mixed around like Snoop Dogg. But, if its in the forefront, its repeditive and terrible. The R&B sound is melodic and varied. That's why it stands the test of time. Not so the Hip Hop 'slap beat'. Which is only part of a beat, not a complete one.

Sorry I got side tracked on my first comment. We all listen to Lisa because see touches us with all her songs. At my old job I use to play "Real Thing" when I was leaving for the day because it always made me feel like I was leaving on a positive note.
