I also called my Mom during this song and held the phone to the stage so she could hear her sing. I thought she was going to cry for a minute. She loves the show and would've loved to be there. I thought that was next to the best thing for her. I also got her an autograph from Renee O'Connor.

i have the sneaking suspicion that renee is concerned with being 'typecast' as a lesbian - of sorts. funny thing about lucy lawless is she doesnt seem to care. which makes her cool. its a shame though - renee is so cute. lol. i think the gay populus would appreciate the attention now and again.

Renee was going to play a nun the first nigh at Lucy's concert but her kid got clobbered in the head with a golf club and she was in the emergency room during the show.

I think so too! Renee actually did an interview about playing a lesbian character on Army Wives but I don't think it ever came to light. It's a shame because she's so much better than some of the roles she chooses to play. She neds to stay away from that Sci-Fi stuff and concentrate on some more serious dramatic type stuff. But no matter what she does I still love just looking at her. She's still so gorgeous and so generous. I loved meeting her for that brief 30 seconds.

My husband and I were there for this show and it rocked!! The convention was awesome also. If you can ever make it to a show and/or convention, do it!! You'll never forget it! You go lucy!!

No I didn't film the convention. It was hard enough to film this when Lucy was standing 5 ft away. I had to force myself to film her because I really wanted to just be looking at her with my own eyes, instead of through a tiny digital window.
