Bionicle was the only series Lego had that actually had a story. It was intracite with plot twists, beytrayals, deaths, and surprises. Greg Farshey spoke to the people and included many of their ideas into the canon, and not just little things either. The fanbase goes way beyond anything lego put up on their website and still lives on with websites like BZpower and Biosector1. For this reason Hero Factory will never replace Bionicle in my life and I hope one day Lego reconizes their mistake.

good vid, but its unfortunate, i really think they could have made it a good movie, even with its "humor" it would have been awesome to see the two gigantic toa things fight eachother, but no, they had to leave it hanging so that we have to read the far superior comics that only come with the magazine to see the end. its sad really.

For some reason, the one tiny change in this version annoys the s*** out of me. I get really frustated when it says "I'm building up my nerve so you can wish me well, be sure I will be there," and it's supposed to say "I'm building up my nerve so you can wish me well, or you can wish me hell." IT PISSES ME OFF

You know, I don't want to sound rude, and if I'm offending anyone by saying this then sorry, but those types of AMVs can annoy the heck out of me. Showing the whole scene/animation/commercial while music plays does not equal good editing, let alone 'editing'.

I have this unwritten code that I never put two (originally) successive shots after each other in my music videos. Not even when they match the music (although I've done it once or twice if I couldn't find more suitable shots).

That's because it's the film version. When a score goes from MP3 to being placed in the film, something about the way its done speeds it up slightly. It's most noticable in Pirates of the Carribean.

Ehm, no. If you just trim the file by dragging it instead of cutting, it'll do the same thing. If you load the genuine audio file and munge it, I guarantee it will sound right.

˝I agree with the notion that the official video should have focused more on the Bionicle characters themselves instead of the members of the band.

I don't want to sound rude to Cryoshell or anything, I appalud them for the effort they put into making their clip, but thing is, of the two official videos, about 1.75 focus on the subject at hand. Not that it's their fault.

I would rather have one that focuses completely on the band and a fully different one that shows mostly clips from the movie.

To each their own, I say each of them sucked as movies. If we look at them, however, as Bionicle movies, then they are easier to watch... but are still bad. I think TLR has quite a few well put-together parts, but is really flat and silly overall. Which is why I tend to view it as a pilot for a better movie series, not a stand-alone entry.

I know, I originally intended to mix a couple of clips from other '09 material, but in the end, I restricted myself to TLR.

For one, I wanted to avoid all the "Where did that clip come from? Is that one in the movie?" comments, and secondly, I was't able to find place for all the clips that I wanted to include even this way.
